    Acne Removal

    Saturday, February 19, 2011

I am hoping and praying that Frankie will never have to deal with acne like Ryan and I did. We both have oily skin, and we get acne terribly especially when we were younger. Thankfully, he doesn't have to deal with that anymore. I have so many scars on my face from the acne I got when I was growing up that I may have to get acne scar removal. It is so detrimental to one's confidence growing up, and I wish and I hope, he would never have to deal with it.

    Blocked Out

When I took my first math quiz I blocked out. There was so much going on in my mind. I was supposed to pick up Frankie at noon and our professor did not give the test until 10 minutes before we were supposed to be release. The quiz, although only five points, was really hard that it took longer than what it should had been. I answered some questions, but I was not confident enough. I left a note to my professor that I blocked out and could not finish the quiz.

Ryan was so alarmed and think I should take hgh supplement of a hormone produced by the brain to help me function. Thankfully, our professor drops the lowest quiz at the end of the semester, so I am ok for now.

    Last Year

I can't believe how busy I am. Yes... literally. Thankfully, Papa is doing all the wrapping for me or else I will not be able to wrap the gifts at all. Ryan, on the other hand, is also very busy. I have so much things to share but just terribly out of time. I don't even know where to start. Anyways, even if I am extremely busy and hasn't really done so much shopping, but I have successfully decorated Frankie's room instead of the living room. You see, we had our Christmas tree up in the living room. Unfortunately, Frankie kept plugging it and unplugging it. We have the switch off, but I don't feel comfortable when I am at work. It actually bothered me, so I decided to take the big tree in Frankie's room. I take Frankie in our room and sleep with us, so I know that he won't play with it. Yep, Frankie still sleeps with me. He is fine, but it is me who can't let go of my little boy. Ryan even asked me when will he be able to sleep alone and, I told him I don't know but it doesn't bother him which is good.

Frankie knows about Santa. In fact, he got his first goodies from Santa today. I hang his stocking by the tree, and this morning he got goodies from him. Apparently, Santa will be stopping by everyday before Christmas. Nothing much but little toy cars for .97 and candies with a Santa wrapping in it. We will see if he will get goodies from Santa tomorrow again for being a good boy.

    Acne

A couple of days ago, I had a horrible acne breakout on my chin. There were a lot of it with some carrying puss. I really thought it was a little disgusting, and I even felt so uncomfortable going to school with it. I clean my face all the time, and I do not understand why I get breakouts all the time. I can't help but longed for the best acne treatments in the market today. I heard a lot of people in commercials saying that they have used this and that, but it is so hard to believe though because I know most of them are paid. If I could only get real people to review a product, now that would be awesome.

    Sleep Aid

Since school started, I have been waking up at 6:00 a.m. to prepare Ryan's breakfast and lunches and to make sure that every thing is ready for Frankie. I usually have his clothes ready also his socks so I don't have to look for them. When I have a test or quiz, I usually wake up at 4:00 a.m. That gives me time to take a shower, eat, and study. I love studying when everybody in the house are sleeping.

I seem to be ok with my new schedule but there are times when I can't hardly sleep despite of how tired I am. I even went to our local pharmacy and asked for the best over the counter sleep aid. There are times when I need it and there are times when I just fall right back to sleep. I may have to get some in case I need. I can't be sleepy driving Frankie to school and going to my school afterwards.

    Working

I have always dreaded working retail during the holiday season. Some customers could be really mean and nasty to retail workers. That is why I truly understand when some retail workers could be stand-offish to customers at time. Although there are some retail workers who are just plan mean too. For the so many years I have worked in retail, this is the first time that the customers were really nice. There are some occasionally pain in the rear-end, but they are nothing compared to what I have experienced at Target. In fact, this holiday I just got two people who are senseless and mean. Other than that, all is good.

Anyways, Ryan and I went to Chicago earlier. Papa asked if we could leave Frankie, and so we did. Frankie is very fascinated with all his toys, and he wanted to play with them anyways so Ryan and I figure that it was a good idea to leave him. I was sleeping the entire drive going to Chicago. I don't know why I was so exhausted, but I was a little up on our way home. Ryan and I talked about a lot of things most especially about my career, and where I should be after I graduate college. Getting an associates degree is one of my goal. It will take a while but with the support of my family and friends, I will get there soon. Math and science will be my greatest challenge, and I can't graduate without finishing those two darn subjects. Papa is such an inspiration. He kept reminding me that things will get better soon, and I will reap my hard work in the end.

    Belly Fat

What are the ways to lose belly fat? You can run on the treadmill or outside. You can also watch what you eat, so it will keep you from gaining more weight around the belly section. Another way of losing weight is do work-out or crunches. Probably doing some stretches too will be another alternative.

There are so many ways to lose belly fat, but if you are always in the same place like me. The belly fat would eventually get to you. It can be very frustrating because it is so easy to have them but so hard to get rid of them. Definitely so annoying!

    Mortgage

    Friday, February 18, 2011

Ryan and I applied to have our mortgage refinanced. We have two mortgages since when we bought the house, we did not have to put in a down payment. After five years, we paid the second loan off and not we are left with the big mortgage. That was the reason why we decided to have our mortgage refinanced. The bank sent the papers, and we promptly mailed it back. Unfortunately they did not have the same lender when we sent in the paper, so we were asked to send another set of papers for the new lender.

When we were finally done and submitted everything, we were told that the second lender went down under. The bank told us that they have another lender, and we have to resubmit the papers all over again. It was when Ryan and I decided that we were not doing it anymore. Let me tell you, this was in a matter of a year from the time we submitted the very first papers and from the time we got the first reply and the second. We find it very frustrating since we have to pay for inspection and other fees here and there for the papers.

If I were you and is looking into refinancing your mortgage or buying your very first home, why don't you check out First Foundation Residential Mortgage. What I like about them is you can get pre-approved online. It is very important to have when you are looking for a house because some real-estate agents would not even entertain you if you do not have one. In fact, when I called to make an appoint for a certain house that we would like to see, the very first question she asked was if we were pre-approved. It is also nice to have because it locks in the interest rate for a while.

Another thing I like about Firstfoundation.ca is their website is just a wealth of information. I like how anyone could use their mortgage calculator to learn how much it is going to cost them or how much is the interest at the mortgage broker Calgary . I also like how their blog talks about helpful information about mortgage and market news among other things. Most of all, I like how I can apply quickly and easily for a mortgage online rather than waiting months and even a year through the bank. So what are you waiting for? Subscribe now, so you will be up to date with the latest mortgage rates.

    Vaccinated

Finally, we are almost ready to travel until we have Frankie vaccinated too. Papa and I already got ours, and I will be calling his pedia to check on her and ask if they have it or where can I possibly get some for Frankie. I was expecting to have some side effects after I was vaccinated, but I felt normal. Although, the next day, I felt like I was about to have a cold.

I was vaccinated with live bacteria and my body is trying to get used/adjust to it but other than that, it was all good. Papa seems to be very ok. He didn't even feel anything. We also have our card stamped in case someone asks at the airport. If it was me, I will just probably let it go but Papa wants to be sure because it won't be worth it to be quarantine for two weeks, and we only have a three weeks vacation. I am so excited for this vacation that is why I can't wait for the holidays to finally be over.

    Ticketamerica.com

    Thursday, February 17, 2011

I was listening to a radio show on my way to drop Frankie off to school last week. One of the callers was so happy because he won four Chicago Bulls tickets for February 24, 2011’s game at the United Center versus the Miami Heat. He was so static and cheerfully told the DJ that he will definitely take along his parents and his wife.

I love basketball, but I have only been to one basketball game since I got here in the US. Ryan and I were visiting relatives in Detroit, and we all agreed to get Detroit Pistons Tickets all together to watch the game. I remember that it was held at the Palace of Auburn Hills. I have never cheered that loud in my entire life. It was a lot of fun, and I would love to do it all over again.

There are two options where people could get their tickets. They could either wait for their chance to win through a radio station or get their basketball tickets at Ticketamerica.com. Ticketamerica.com has Indiana Pacers tickets, Los Angeles Lakers tickets, Sacramento King tickets, and other NBA teams. Ticketamerica.com not only sells basketball tickets but also other sports tickets, concert tickets, and theater tickets. You can start checking out the events in your area by typing your zip code and city on the search box located at the right top corner of their website. Start planning for your summer with Ticketamerica.com.

    Snow Blower

Two weeks ago, we have the worst snow storm ever since I have been here. The schools were all closed, and people were asked to come home early on Tuesday after 3:00 p.m. The snow already started falling around that time and by 2:30 p.m. Wednesday, we were filled with two feet of snow.

The next day, Frankie had a wonderful time playing with the snow while Ryan is having a hard time shoveling our long driveway. I told him to get a new one of those ariens snowblowers, but he prefers shoveling because he thinks he is also exercising. He was outside for almost two hours, and did not even finish the entire end of the driveway. The streets were not cleared yet, and we know that when they do, they will throw the snow on our driveway, so he thinks that there was no sense cleaning it up. We really need a snow blower soon since we are going to have another snow coming up.

    Another Visit

The holidays had truly messed up the entire store, but it wasn't as bad over Target. The customers were a lot friendlier too. Well, there were some instances that I just want to choke a couple of customers for being so rude and mean. It wouldn't be that bad if I was treated that way and left the store with something in their hand(s) but nope, they didn't buy anything. Anyhow, the big move back to the original setting messed up my department really bad. I got my two T-Walls back that I had to give up for Home.

I had so many shoes in the stockroom, and I am not liking it at all. My sales had been really steady, and it surpassed the entire company's goal as always. But with that said, you can also tell that it was shopped, and when I say shopped, it was shopped a lot. So last Monday, I decided to move everything to make room for the ones I have in the back of the store and for the new products coming in. Thankfully, some of the boots are going clearance, and I am getting sandals. I just want it to be ready for spring and for the next overnight set. I already have foodies in mind for my overnight team. I picked them among the many because they are good workers.

Last Tuesday, our district manager had a surprise visit. It definitely surprised all of them. I was off that day, but I was so thankful that I did that big move the day before, or she could have seen how bad shoes was. She was really impressed with the progress over there, and how I kept exceeding her expectations. I even got a note from one of my managers that she talked to, to thank me everyday for doing a good job over there. It is always nice to be recognized by my hardwork every once in a while especially to a person like here.

    Hosting

    Tuesday, February 8, 2011

I was a little afraid when I made the switch. I used to have free hosting, but I have always wanted to get my own name and domain. I read different sites about the best webhosting to have before I made the switch, and thankfully, I found a very dedicated hosting who was always there for me every time I have questions. I had a lot of issues in the beginning because everything was new to me, but every time I email tech support, they always answer my queries in a timely manner. They always make me feel so valued and that they also respect my time.

    My Kids Record Television

This guest post from Mickey Garza

While many people have children that watch television they do not realize that some of the best educational shows are going to be on after their child is already in bed. That is when I realized that I could use my DVR to record those shows for them. With those shows being recorded by the DVR off of satellite programming from www.direct.tv/direct-tv-packages.html I knew that they would be able to watch them the next day.

When the next day would come around they would always ask right off the bat about the shows that I had managed to record them the night before. Since they were always looking forward to this I knew that I would have some explaining to do if I ever missed out on recording a show. However, that did happen at times and I would have to explain to my children why it happened.

Thankfully I knew that my kids were going to love the shows that I recorded for them and that they were going to further their education more than what any school would be able to do. However, I did have to watch some of the shows before I decided to let them watch the show to ensure that it was going to be safe for their viewership. The ones that were not safe though were the ones that even they couldn't grasp the concept of what was going on, and then they would get bored and start fighting.

    Watching

It is nice that this computer in the bedroom is very fast now. It was a blessing in disguise that Ryan short circuited something while he was trying to upgrade, so the old one won't work anymore. He was thinking of closing the account where he had his shop money all saved, so he used it to pay cash for a new CPU. It is in 6GB, so I can watch movies from Netflix while trying to write at the same time. I just watched the Step Up 2, and I really enjoyed it. The moves was really awesome. I kind of wish I can dance like that, but only in my dreams. I am thinking of watching another one but that I could do later. I still have quiet a few to write, and I want to take advantage of this. I am just happy that I have somewhere to get the money from for Ging-ging.

    Healthcare Job Listing

    Friday, February 4, 2011

More and more students are applying to become a nurse at my school these days. I definitely do not blame them. Becoming a nurse or working in the medical field/health care is the best way to go. If only I am not afraid of blood, I would go for it myself. I faint at the sight of blood, and looking at it makes me really sick.

The internet has truly helped people that are looking for a job in health care find jobs. It is so easy because there are healthcare job listings online. In fact, there is a site that is dedicated just for that. You can start by searching for the job you need and where. It is not only concise but very convenient. You can even apply online if you find job that you wanted.
