    Scrubs

    Sunday, January 30, 2011

People that work in the medical field can now get scrubs online. Yep, you read it right. When I used to work retail, there were a lot of people who always come to the store to ask if we sell scrubs. One lady said she had been to so many stores. Some stores actually sell them but the selections were very limited. The designs were a little “blah” with very limited colors too. I wish I knew about blueskyscrubs.com then. I would have surely told her about it.

Blueskyscrubs.com offers a variety of beautiful nursing uniforms over the internet. We all know how busy a nurse could be and doesn’t have the time in the world to be looking around from store to store. At the convenience of her home, she can order one and have it sent to her house. It saves her a lot of time and money.

Women scrubs come in different colors. You can buy it as a pair or top or bottom separately. It is not only for nurses too but also for doctors or anyone that is in the medical field. I like the Carnegie green, French lilac, and crimson wine top color they have. I couldn’t wait to tell a couple of my girlfriends who are nurses about this site. I am sure they are going to like this place.

    Getting Rid of Netflix

    Friday, January 28, 2011

I have been telling Ryan to get rid of Netflix. We kept it before because Papa was using it, and now that he is not here, I want to get rid of it. I thought it is a waste of $20.00 a month especially now that they have increased the monthly fee. Ryan and I do not have the time to sit and watch movies anymore like we used to. He gets Frankie's Bob the Builder DVDs or Diego in there, but I think it is not worth it. Frankie has been really busy with school too, and he does not have the time anymore. I jokingly told Ryan to cut off Netflix and give me the $20.00 a month, so I could put it in my savings account.

On a different note, I am so glad that Frankie does not have school today. We stayed in the house, and all we did was clean up including the dishes and putting it away. I may have to do the clothes in the weekend. Thankfully it is Saturday tomorrow, so I could go to the library to study. I really really need it so badly. I do not like the scores I am getting in my quizzes. I could improve if I only have the time to study.

    Shopping The Easy Way

For two years, Papa lived here with us, and it was so easy to get the things that I wanted to get because I do not need to haul Frankie all over the place. Now that he has gone back home, it is so hard for me to go places even grocery shopping without chasing after Frankie in the store. He likes wandering around the store. He is such a curious kid, and he wants to know how and why thing works.

In a couple of weeks from now, it is going to be Valentine’s Day. I do not know what to get Dada, and I do not even know which store to go to. I am thinking of getting him something online, so I do not need to go out and shop around with Frankie. I always hate being rushed when I am shopping, but with Frankie, I really do not have a choice but to hurry up, or he will be all over the place in the store. I do not shop online all the time, and do not know much about it. That was why I am so pleased to learn about ShopWiki.

ShopWiki is a shopping comparison site. It is very easy to navigate, and it is very handy to have. Let's say for example, I want to get my husband a new laptop for Valentine’s Day. All I did was type “laptop” on the search engine, and I got 92488 results back with the word “laptop” in it complete with the top stores, their prices, and the stores’ website in case I am interested in buying one. They find retailers and stores in the web to get the best deals. ShopWiki saves you the time and the hassle of going to the store physically. Plus, it is so easy to compare prices for the same things, so you’ll never go wrong. They can also help you find rarest items that are not usually in stores.

Also, if you are having a hard time deciding on what to get your special someone for Valentine’s Day then the directory buying guide will be of great help. They have awesome suggestions that will surely help you decide. ShopWiki is so amazing that they are expanding overseas specifically in Australia, France, Germany, UK, Spain, and other countries sharing the savings. I can finally get Ryan something for Valentine’s Day less the hassle and the running around in the cold weather with Frankie.

    Online Marketing

    Thursday, January 27, 2011

When I think of marketing, I still think of the days when businesses used newspapers, flyers, brochures, and telemarketing to get their business known to the consumers. Although it was proven efficient, it takes time. The introduction of the internet has thoroughly revolutionized how businesses conduct their businesses these days. With Online Marketing, a business can now reach different prospective clients from different walks of life. Can you imagine how many people use the internet every single day?

Let’s say you have a website for your business? How many people actually knows that your business exists on the web? How can you be so sure that when someone searches your product, your website pops up? You don’t! Unless you hire Discount Click online marketing services. They help you to get your website visible in the internet and in search engines targeting the right people.

Discount click has SEO services, link building services, and search engine marketing among other things. You can also contact a SEO consultant for your company. You can easily get started by filling up a form. Get your website to the right people and boost its popularity.

    Today

I am waiting for Dada to come home, so Papa and I could go and watch a movie. The last movie date that Papa and I watched was the avatar. It was a very long but indeed an awesome movie. I hope we could still make it for church, but if not Dada and I could just go to church tomorrow morning then on with bowling.

It looked to beautiful outside despite the more or less 12 inches snow we have a couple of days ago. The sky is so blue and very beautiful. When I leave the house later, I will try to enjoy my time with Papa and not think of the pending assignments, projects, exams, and clothes that needs to get done. I will enjoy my time with my Papa. Hopefully tonight I get some of them done but if not then it may have to wait.

    House

    Tuesday, January 25, 2011

I remember when Ryan and I first moved to this house. We got this house six years ago, and it is an old one. We did not know that the previous owner had a few cats, and on the first day, I was feeling so sick. I can’t breath and my face was puffy and my eyes were read and swollen. I never had this before, so I thought it was something I ate. When Ryan started cleaning the carpet in the living room, it was when we realized that the cat dander was making me sick. I was allergic!

To help me feel better, we hired someone to clean the air ducts which we think did a bad job. It seems like they were in a hurry to get things done and were not doing it thoroughly. I wish we were in Austin, Texas because we would have hired “The Steam Team” to do the healthy air duct cleaning austin for us. What I like about "The Steam Team" is they use sophisticated equipments to get the job done. It maybe time for another air duct cleaning again since I noticed that Frankie and I have been really sick lately. We kept sneezing and usually wake up with swollen and puffy eyes and face. It’s been six years maybe it is about time to have another one.

I sometimes wonder if we made a bad decision when we bought this house. It is old and it has some issues with it. But I realized that, I should still be thankful because we do not have a basement. I have friends who have basements, and every time it rains, it is such a disaster. The water has damaged their basements and the furniture that were in it. Now, they have to consider doing some work on their water damaged basement austin. Plus, restore those water damaged furniture austin. Considering what we have, we are still very lucky.

    Car Insurance

I have often wondered how people can drive without car insurance. Aren’t they aware of the consequences that they will have to face once pulled over by a cop? What if in an event of an accident? Is the driver going to shoulder all the hospital bills and dues in fixing the car of the other party? Is it even worth the risk? If the excuse is because motor vehicle liability insurance is expensive, I do not think so. It is just a matter of looking at the right place. Besides in getting car insurance, it is very smart to compare quotes first to find the best insurance that fits your budget.

At Carinsurancerates.me, you can shop around and compare rates. All you have to do is fill out an instant quote form to get started. What I like about Carinsurancerates.me’s website is it contains a wealth of information every new driver or even those who had been driving need. It has information about insurance basic, and what you need to know before purchasing your very own car insurance. They even have information about student drivers.

So what are you waiting for? Start comparing companies and rates today and do yourself a favor! Protect yourself and the people around you by getting yourself your very own car insurance.

    Promising

Where did my confidence go? I kept asking myself that. I do paid blogging and make money off of writing. I had been writing for quiet a while although I know my writing is not perfect and full of grammatical errors. Lately my confidence had gone rock bottom when we were doing our assignment in English. I can keep up with the story reviews and the reply but now that we are having the peer review, I feel so dumb. I don't feel like I am in the position to be critiquing their work when I don't even know if my work is correct or worst is I can't pin point their error.

My nice teacher emailed me earlier and made me realize that there is more to it than just plain critique. She had read my work, and she said my writings is very promising and that I just need to keep on going. That email really made me feel important today. If only I could tell where the errors are in a paragraph then I won't have this problem. I really look at this a challenge. Who knows, I might major English to learn more. We'll see.

    Hunting

    Saturday, January 22, 2011

My father loved hunting. He used to have an old rifle that he got from his uncle. They used to hunt together and usually come home with wild animals. I think it was very scary, but they like the adventure. I believed that owning a rifle is an investment, and should get one that would work for your advantage. If you are thinking of getting a rifle for yourself or to someone as a gift, do not forget to include holographic sights. Holographic sights are a great addition since it has a reliable and precise target acquisition. It will surely make any rifle complete.

    Doormat

I was so static when I got my gift from my siblings last Christmas. They got me a shirt with all five of us in it. The picture was taken in Bohol when we took our vacation. I was so happy of what they got me and thought that was the most thoughtful gift I ever received from them. I always loved giving and receiving personalized gifts. It makes me feel special. In fact, I am thinking of giving a close friend one of those personalized all kinds of doormats as a house warming gift. I am sure they would love that. I still need to decide whether I will put in their names or a quote. Regardless, I am sure they would appreciate the gesture.

To Go Home or Not to Go Home

I have not decided yet. My brother is getting married this year, and I really would like to be there. Ryan is ok with it, but it has to be around the time that Frankie and I will pick up mama. I know it is going to be really expensive, but I am hoping to get a good travel agent that could give us a deal. Mama's visa is only for 2 months not 6 months, and I want to arrange it to my brother where they could have the wedding while we are there. It also depends on if I get pregnant or not as Ryan is very sensitive in sending me home while I am pregnant. We'll see! I just want to be there for my brother, and I am sure our presence will be everything to him.

    Forgetful

    Monday, January 17, 2011

I noticed that as I grow older, I am getting more and more forgetful. I am no longer as sharp as when I was in high school and college back home. I used to read a book, and I remember exactly certain details about what I just read. Now, I have to read it over and over again to understand and to remember what I read.

I am also to the point of writing important things down because I am certain that I will forget about it. It is like I read it and in a matter of minutes the information is gone. I really have to force myself to remember what I just read to be able to retain it in my head, if not I will forget about it almost in an instant which is not good when you are taking a test. Maybe I need to look into growth hormone reviews and check what is the best in the market today. It will help me maintain brain function, increase energy, and stabilize metabolism. I just want to be back how it used to where learning and remembering was so easy for me.

    Tattoo

I had a wonderful time at the Target get together yesterday at JN Michaels. Even if we had gone on our separate ways, we still managed to keep in touch. We might not talk as much as we did, but we know that we are going to be there for each other. It is just sad how things are at the place we used to work.

Anyways, as always, it was so nice everyone. We talked about our lives after we all left Target. Some of us went back to school while some are planning to go back to school. Our conversation went to different topics even to tattoos. They were showing off their tattoos, and they looked really cute. Although one of the girls wanted to have a tatoo removal because the person who did hers did it wrong. It was supposed to be in honor of her grandmother, but the person misspelled her grandma’s name. She already made arrangements to someone to either correct or remove it for her. All in all, it was fun. We had a good time with great food and friends.

    When We are Together...

... we make fun of each other. We make goofy and funny faces. We make each other laugh all the time. We are so open with each other. I just talked to my eldest brother, and they are all so excited for us. I longed for the day that I will see them again soon. Unfortunately, the plan of Frankie and I going home changed, so I won't be able to see them. I can't wait to hug them all again.

    Looking Good

It is always amazing to meet someone again after so many years of not seeing each other. I went home to the Philippines last year, and I met some of my classmates and teachers back in high school. I was expecting all of my teachers at least to age, but I was surprised to see one who did not even look like she aged at all. She still looked the same as I remembered here. In fact, I looked older than she is. I felt like asking her if she is using a natural anti aging product if it wasn’t embarrassing.

I have always admired those people who are able to maintain their youthful look even if their age is not very young anymore. I hope when I get older I still look younger than my age.

    Cheap Auto Insurance

It was rough driving Frankie to school last Tuesday. The snow started falling that Monday night, and it continued to fall until Tuesday night. The road was horrible, and I skid so many times. Some drivers are going too fast which I think was very irresponsible. Even if they must have gotten a cheap auto insurance online, it still takes a lot of responsibility to be out in the snow.

There were a couple of head on collisions that day too because people lose control of their cars. I wish everyone who needs to drive in the snow will be extra careful not only to themselves but also to the people around them.

    Frankie's Birthday in the Philippines

    Friday, January 14, 2011

In a few months, it will be Frankie's birthday once again. Our little boy will now be four years old. Last year, we celebrated his birthday in the Philippines. It was just with family since that day also fell on the holy week. Back home, we could not really do anything when it is the holy week. Here is a video that we took for that day.

    Phone

    Monday, January 10, 2011

I am not so crazy about phones. In fact, I have a pre-paid phone right now. I usually just leave it in my purse or in the car for emergency. We used to have a plan, but I think it wasn’t worth it because I have wasted so many minutes. I seldom use it, and if I do, the longest would be just a few minutes.

Although, I am not so crazy about phones, but there are some phones that I think is very fancy. I think it would be really nice to have blackberry torch. It looks really neat, and it looks like a nice one to have.

    Lots of Expenses

There are a lot of expenses this year. First, Papa had to go home to help mama process her papers and they soon will be coming back here. She also needs to have her physical done. Thankfully, Ryan was so up to date in paying for her visa, the processing fee, and the application. In addition to that, Ryan and I just paid $14,000.00 cash for something which I am not going to disclose just yet. I am just glad that we had that amount of money in our hard. That is why when Ryan asked me if I wanted to go somewhere this year, I was a little apprehensive.

Last year, we did not really make a big trip since Papa, Frankie, and I went to the Philippines. Ryan and I, however, went somewhere close for his birthday. This year, he wants to visit his grandparents in Georgia and take one of those Branson vacations on our way back. I have already said yes, but I am still thinking of the expenses. We’ll see! I think we so deserved it anyway.

    Online University

This semester, there are only three classes that I can take that fits with my schedule. I usually take Frankie to his school, and I will go straight to my school. Once I am done, I will be picking him up again. Everything sounds perfect, but I am truly worried when it snows here. The school where Frankie is in is really in a very bad spot, and it is very hilly. It wouldn’t be a problem if I do not need to drive to my school which is about 20 minutes away from Frankie’s school but I had too. I sometimes think going to an online university is the thing to do where everything is right in front of me and does not need to go to campus. It would be a lot easier because I can schedule my time in accordance with Frankie.

This semester, I feel like I am always in a rush with so many things to do and very little time. I hope my teachers will be nice to let me go early, so that I could pick Frankie up on time. I know going to an online university makes going to school a lot easier, and I am truly considering it for the next semester.

    Cleaning

    Sunday, January 9, 2011

Ryan and I agreed that we are going to be doing some major cleaning this weekend. Unfortunately, Ryan is still sick and has been laying down for the past two days. Unfortunately, he has to go out today to do something. Frankie, however, after his fever has been coughing again, but it is not as bad as before. I feel like our house is such a mess. I waited to get a vaccum cleaner because the one we have has been acting strange. Instead of cleaning, it is actually spitting out the stuff after sucking it in. I find it very annoying. We finally got one and hopefully this will work better than the other one.

    Shopping Made Easy

    Monday, January 3, 2011

I love getting ads in the mail from different stores. It gives me an idea on what to get when Ryan and I go out on our weekly shopping. We are very particular, and we go on places that are nearby of course to get things that are cheap. It is always nice to know what they have rather than having to look for it or browse when you are in the store. I think it is such a waste of time.

I also love getting ads in my email especially when it has huge discounts in it. I consider it a Best Buy when you know what the deals you are getting. I enjoy getting pictures of the things on sale complete with links too. It makes shopping so much easier.

    Alcohol Detox

I lost my grandfather when he was only sixty five years old. He used to drink alcohol all the time even before he had breakfast. Worst is, my three uncles are just the same. They would rather have something to drink than to put food on the table for their families. It seems like it is getting worst and worst. Let’s not forget that they also smoke on top of their drinking.

It gets to my mom all the time because she lost her father because he did not take care of himself. Unfortunately, there is no alcohol detox back home that could help them get over this vice. Sooner or later, they will be just like my grandpa who passed away at a very young age.

    Nervous

I can't deny that I am really nervous this semester. First, it is because this is the first semester that I do not have Papa around to help me with Frankie. It was so much easier when I can just go anytime if I had to study at the college library. Although I have to wake up early to get Frankie ready, but I did not have to worry about taking him to school and picking him up. It is going to be different since my schedule is entirely dependent to Frankie. I hope he is well all the time, so I do not have to skip school. I hope to meet nice classmates this semester, so we could email each other just like last semester.

I have another four classes this semester. Physical Science, Math, US History, and my Ed. major. I have two teachers from last semester, and I kinda know what to expect from them. I am more concern with the US history and the Physical Science one because I am never good with science. I guess I need to start liking it from now.
