Guest post written by Rachel West

A lot of times my friends and family will tease me about not finishing up a lot of things. Like back in high school when I joined the tennis team and then ended up quitting before the season was over. So I guess there is some stuff that they can use to tease me about it. But I want to start working out at a regular basis.

When I told my best friend that she said that I always quit what I start and I would never keep up with it. Well I want to prove everyone wrong. So I was looking online and trying to find a good workout plan to use that I would keep up with when I saw the site www.cleartvbundle.com/direct_tv_bundle.html and read through it. I'm going to switch my internet provider company to it and I think that's also something that I can really stick with.

I think that I have a realistic exercise plan that I can go with. I signed myself up for yoga classes that happen three days a week. Then I'm going to get my exercise two other days a week by running around my neighborhood with my roommate. I think that we'll make each other stick to the routine

    Burner

    Wednesday, October 27, 2010

I am very excited that we finally had our utility room back. You see, the treadmill is in the utility room, and as much as I wanted to run, I couldn’t stand the smell of the guinea pigs. Their pee was so nasty and I just couldn’t take it. Papa is the only one that actually runs in there despite the smell because he is so determined to be in shape. I have not come to that point just yet. I still need a fat burner to help me lose the weight. Papa, on the other hand, wants to keep it all natural. I do not blame him though. I just do not like to exert more effort that is why I need the help of a fat burner.

    Happier

My stress level had surely gone from 99% to 40% by not going to work anymore. Although I still have things to do for school, but that is nothing compared to not having the time to do them because of work. I am a lot of happier and can do things that are expected of me. I also do not have to rush to go places because I have my day planned out already from picking up Frankie to the end of the night. I have another quiz tomorrow and yet here I am blogging. At least, I can now wake up early unlike before that it took me forever to wake up because I am just too tired. I am very confident that things will get better. With the schedule change, I am a lot happier and my grades too.

    Not Easy

Papa had been really watching what he eats because of his high blood pressure and cholesterol. His doctor always comments about his weight every time he went see him. As we get older, it gets harder and harder for the body to do certain things that we used to do when we were younger. When I was younger, I kept asking myself how to lose weight fast. Is there an easy way out? Unfortunately, losing weight takes a lot of hard work and determination. If only things were that easy.Even taking diet pills still need to work-out and watch what you eat. Like I said, it is not easy.

    New Product

Frankie and I were at a local store earlier picking up his prescription when I saw an end cap of new weight loss products right in front of the pharmacy. There was another customer in front of me, so I decided to read the label while Frankie was in the cart. Reading the label did not really explain much, however it gives details about its ingredients. This is good especially when you are shopping around for weight loss products and you want to make sure that you are not allergic to its ingredients. It is always nice to be proactive.

    Guinea Pig Gone

Papa has been helping me with the guinea pigs for almost a year now, so when I realized that he was going home, I told Ryan that we need to get rid of them. Nobody that I know wants to take them. They are a lot of work though. They have to be cleaned all the time because they have this smell that is so gross. Their pee is not helping either.

I remembered my sister in law telling me that there is a place online where you could put up stuff that you do not like and other people would take it. It was the same way with the guinea pigs. For just a few days of it being up, a couple of people already contacted me. The first lady was very happy. She was going to give the guinea pigs as a gift to her grandson. There was another lady but she did not call me back when she realized we live 45 minutes away from her. The last lady was a vet student, and she was willing to take all four of them if I still had them. I am so thankful and happy that I don’t have to deal with them anymore. Never will I ever be persuaded again.

    Shopping with My Little Monsters

    Friday, October 22, 2010

Thanks for the post from Wilbert Aguilar

Today will be the beginning of the great search for the best Halloween costume for my little monsters. The excited squeals and tugging of my sleeve during certain Halloween themed commercials were their sign that it was time to get my booty in gear. Usually when I think of Halloween costumes suitable for my kids, Party City comes to mind since it has one of the most extensive collections around. So, early this morning, after setting my ADT SECURITY alarm system, we ventured out into the early hours of the morning. After stopping for breakfast and having a brief chat about possible choices, we arrived at our destination. We inspected aisles and aisles of possibilities while at the same time avoiding some of the scarier ones. One particular aisle was full of everything girlish you could possible think of. Princess, mermaids, fairies, butterflies; they were all there shimmering and gleaming under the florescent lights of the store. My little girl is at that age where butterflies and fairies are the epitome of beautiful so she predictably picked out a fairy costume. My little boy surprised me with his retro Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle choice. I remembered those guys from the 80's. They weren't still around were they? After making our purchases, we took our goodies to the car, excited because they would get to show off their costumes to their father. I certainly hope they don't change their mind between now and Halloween. Maybe I should keep my receipt handy... just in case?

    Staying Home

    Sunday, October 17, 2010

Ryan and I went to the library again after church today. I felt so bad that we have to spend the rest of our time in the library when it was so beautiful outside. I guess sometimes we have to make sacrifices for the future. Frankie, on the other hand, had the time of his life because Papa took him places and decided to stop in the park to play at the playground. On our way home, we saw them also just about to get in.

There were a lot of people out running and biking today. I couldn't blame them because I know the weather is not going to stay this way for long. When it is winter, I feel so trapped that I like eating more. This winter might be just worst now that I have a lot of time to do some cooking. I will probably need the best appetite suppressant for women to help me get through. I am really looking forward this winter because I will be able to stay home with my beautiful family.

    Paper

I submitted my paper in my Ed class about one month ago, and every session, we kept asking him where it was. He kept telling us that he is working on it. I thought, it probably doesn't really do not take a while to grade a paper. I was comparing him to some of my teachers before. Finally, last night we got it back. To our horror, only 1 (that I know of) got an A while mostly a C. I was so happy that I got a B. With how rigid he is and how he grades the paper, I am just glad to get a B. When he returned the paper, he had a long pile of comments that went with it. He typed it and attached it with the paper. He went on every single part in the paper that went wrong, or which he did not understand. My grammar was ok. He only spotted a couple of mistakes for which I could have probably caught if I proof read more that it should had been. My thesis were very strong, and the first two thesis were straight forward, and I supported every one of them. The last one got me held back. I didn't do a good job in tying them together. In short, it was not coherent. He said, my paper was so close to excellent except that. I'll take a B in his class anytime. He is such a nice teacher, but he means business. In two weeks, will be an exam. for this class and I hope I will do will with it because I am surely going to study it.

    Acne Solutions

I feel and look like a monsters when it is almost my monthly period because it is when all my zits start popping out. It is very annoying. Sometimes I try to put some cream on just to keep it from growing big, but most of the time it grows so big that it looked like it is taking so much space on my face. It is not only embarrassing but also very annoying. There are a lot of acne solutions that might just work, but it takes careful research by reading on reviews from people who had used it before. When will I ever have a break from these acne?

    Antenna

    Friday, October 15, 2010

When Ryan and I lived with my father in law, the TV reception we had was great. He had a huge antenna in the backyard on a tower. We don't have to worry about static signals in some of the channels, but now that we moved here in our house right now, it is so hard to get a nice reception. We do not have cable. We decided not to get one since Ryan and I are always out working, and when we get home, we just want to relax and sleep. It is also very frustrating when there is something we want to watch, and the channel is not clear. We were thinking of putting an outdoor antenna, but we do not know where to put it. We also thought of putting a standing antenna on top of our garage, but we are also afraid that it will fall off when there is a storm. I guess, our only choice for now is to find a reliable indoor antenna that would give us a clear reception.

    Interview

I am really really static that the interview are all scheduled on Monday. I am not sure how many people applied, but all I am so excited right now is I could change my availability again once they hire the new people to replace me. I had really good as keep the department at its best. I almost finish the stockroom complete with its labels. I have not cleaned up the wall yet full of my notes from our district manager and our manger and co-workers. I have not clean up the mailbox either. I will do that as soon as I know what the result of the interview on Monday. I have somebody in mind, and I really hope she gets it. She really deserved it more than anybody else. I can't wait for this to be finally over!

    Huge

When I was pregnant with Frankie, I wore a plus size lingerie. I had grown really. I am an average sized person, but when I got pregnant, I really ballooned up. I felt a little embarrassed with my gain weight though, but I did not care because it is all for Frankie. Now that I looked at my clothes when I was pregnant, I couldn't believe how much I have grown. Although I am not looking forward to be that big again soon, but anything for the new baby.

    ATV

    Thursday, October 14, 2010

My friend has those huge flat screen TVs wherever you are in the house. They have it attached on the walls in the living room and in the basement. The kids also has one in their bedrooms except my friend's bedroom. They asked Papa if he could install another one for them. He was the one who installed the other TVs for the kids room. They are still trying to decide whether to mount it on the wall or use an ATV Wheels to just hide it when they are done. I hope they decide soon before Papa goes home for a holiday this December.

    Lingering

    Wednesday, October 13, 2010

Frankie has been coughing and has a little congestion for the past week. The medication that the doctor gave always works great with him, and after a few days with it, it is usually gone. He still have a lingering cough. Unfortunately, we ran out of his cough medicine on the 7th day. Although, I only hear occasional cough, but I still want to take him to the doctor. Before class today, I called and made an appointment for him. I really like that I can just get in any time for this doctor, and she is not that far from our house. Anyways, I am glad that I took him in because she said he still have a little noise on his lungs. She had him under the nebulizer with the liquidize cough medicine and she checked him again after and she could hear a great improvement.

She advised us to get one which insurance covered, and I got it for him before we went home. He should be feeling great again after this.

    Business

What is the perfect home based business these days? When I realized that I will be home bound when I was pregnant with Frankie, I panicked. I was helping my sister to college and to be home bound would mean to stop working and to stop helping her out. I was worried and tried so hard to find ways to help her out. I even wanted to set up a cross stitching store online where my brother could send me the stuff to sell. That did not materialize because I would need a big capital to get it started. Well, I am just glad that I did blogging as it helped her a lot while I was home bound, and it also kept my sanity together.

    Vitamins

    Sunday, October 3, 2010

I used to take vitamins everyday. When I am stressed with so much to do with work and school, I always make sure I take it everyday. Unfortunately, I have not taken any lately. I hated how huge they are and how they usually get stuck in my throat. I wish they would have the best vitamins for women in a tiny pill because I would love to take it everyday. Even pre-natal vitamins are really huge. If not because of Frankie, I don’t think I would ever take those vitamins ever.

    Tween Witch

    Saturday, October 2, 2010

Frankie and I are watching tween witch right now. He seem to like it too. I rented it through Netflix. I happened to see it when I was about to rent Joe versus the volcano for my Ed. class. It was written in 1989 and it reminded me so much of the past such as the hair style, the clothes, and the cars. It is pretty amazing. It feels like, I went on a trip to memory lane. It seems like yesterday that I was in high school and college and it was pretty amazing. I wish I could go back in time and live life freely without any problems. Now, however, is a different story. Full of challenges and responsibilities but I guess I do not want it any other way.

    Done with School

“We work to pay the bills,” that is what Ryan always tells me, but even if we have to do that, we are still glad that we are able to save a little for our future and separate for Frankie’s bank account. It is always nice to have a little something for future use. When I was still helping my sister through college, there was a point when I thought I would need payday advance loans to supplement her needs especially when it wasn’t time for our salaries yet. With the help of my blogging and saving all the money I could save, I was not able too. It is refreshing to know that I can also take a payday loan in case I need it. I am just thankful that I am all done with it.
