Holy Week
I didn’t realize that the week we will arrive in the Philippines is the holy week. I was so excited when I knew it was. It’s been a while since I celebrated holy week the Filipino way with all the fasting and going to church. It is just different here. One of the things I really missed is the passion of the cross and the procession every Good Friday. Of course waking up for Easter for church and for the “sugat”. Although, I won’t be able to do a lot of things the first week because of the observance of the holy week, but I will be happy and contented that I will be able to do it again especially the “visita iglesia” with my entire family. I am really looking forward to it. I grew up doing it, and it will be awesome to do it again.
