Merydith's Place

Kohl’s had been so generous in sharing to us their blessings. That is besides the occasional 30% off we get as discounts for working there. I had worked with retail before, and we were lucky to get a $5.00 gift card as supervisors for Christmas. When I first worked at Kohl’s, we had our mini get together for the ad set team. I didn’t know that the store will be having a holiday party away from the store. Some stores usually have a potluck in their stock room or in the breakroom while the store is still under operation.

Last year, we did it in the Crete park district. It was really nice, but it lacked games and things to do. I hope this year will be different. Our manager promised that we are going to be doing different things every 15 minutes. It should be fun. We already know everybody, and we were just there talking and eating until it was time for us to go. Well, besides the little raffle we had. There will be nominations for people this week too, and they will get their certificates on the party. I am actually very excited. Dada will be coming with me. I would love to take Frankie and Pops, but Papa suggested that it would be a good idea if they stay home because Frankie might be all over the place like last year. I guess this will be my little date with my Dada.
