    Being Silly

    Tuesday, July 28, 2009

One of the things that I like when I take Frankie at Kyle's place is their house is so near to a park. They just love running around the park and being silly in the playground. I used to stand by there to see if they are not hurt or anything. Ryan and Papa are the same thing too but now I realized that he needs to get hurt sometimes or fall sometimes. I guess this is what happens when you only have one child. It so funny though because every time Frankie falls and Kyle sees me running to the rescue, he always comes up to me and say, "Frankie is alright". Then I smile at him and the next thing I know Frankie is already up and running again. I guess he will be alright and will learn more about being independent. He is not a baby anymore.

After registering for my classes and on my way to Jewel to return the movies that I rented, Ryan kept calling my cellphone. When he came home Frankie and Papa were not home. He thought I was out with them but I told him that I just got off. I told him that I will call Papa on his cellphone. Well they were actually in a park and they have been there since 4:00 p.m. when Frankie got up from his nap. He had something to eat and loaded the stroller and off they went. They were there for a good 2 hours. Frankie was so happy playing by himself according to Papa. I wanted to pick them up on my way home but they were so close to our house when I saw them. It is so nice for Frankie to be out like this. I am sure he will miss it when winter comes along.

    Learn More About Mesothelioma

    Wednesday, July 22, 2009

How much do you really know about mesothelioma? Well, I didn’t know much about it until I came across mesothelioma-data.com. This website is loaded with tons of information especially data from here in the United States as well as worldwide. What I also like is the information about asbestos and how it explains its common form and how mesothelioma affects a person’s body. They also have the list of occupations that could be exposed with mesothelioma. It is very informative website I should say. In fact, if you know someone who was diagnosed with mesothelioma, you can request for a free Mesothelioma Info Packet and DVD. All you have to do is sign up the form and submit.

    Karaoke Session

The above pictures are of me and Papa singing Tell Him at Jenny's house yesterday. It's been a while since I have sing it again and this time with a duet. She also have some Tagalog songs in her booklet and we really had fun. Frankie also did his favorite, "I want to spend my lifetime loving you" there too. I wish Papa likes magic sing but he really doesn't like it that much. He still likes his traditional VCD karaoke better.

    Yard Make-over

Since the time we purchased this house, our issue has always been the outside. Every summer, I worry about when we are going to have the time to cut the grass. Ryan and I used to work and when we get home, usually it is already too late to cut the grass. Thankfully now, Papa is here to help us with the outside. The previous owner had the backyard landscaped but unfortunately she was not able to keep it up that most of the weeds have outgrown the flowers. We tried to do something about it but there was nothing we could do without harming the flowerbed. If we only live around Boston, this problem could have been easily remedied because boston landscaping can surely help. You can design your own landscape and have them execute it for you or you can also have them do the design for you. I check out their work portfolio and the result are so gorgeous. This one below is one of my favorites. Can you imagine relaxing at your backyard with something this beautiful?

Well, if you are around the Boston area and could really need a backyard make-over then don’t hesitate to contact or visit boston landscaping. You’ll be glad you did.

Hair Cut, Harry Potter and More

    Tuesday, July 21, 2009

I had the weekend off and as usual I wasn't able to get anything done. I originally wanted to read and do things around the house but that didn't work. I got home really late from Kyle's birthday party the night before. We had karaoke and had some girl talk. The next day I got up a little early because Papa went on a bike ride and Ryan was out early. Had bonding time with Frankie and when Ryan got home, Jenny and I went to see nanay to get our haircut. Ahhh... finally I was able to find someone who can have the hair cut that I wanted. Nanay Flor is Arlene's mom who also just got here from the Philippines 4 months ago. She cuts hair and a make-up artist and she already have 4 weddings to do this summer and fall. It was so fascinating to see her pictures with the celebrities back home. Yes, she does the make up of Judy Ann Santos, Sweet, Donna Cruz just to mention a few. They were also the ones who are desperately looking for a photographer and when I told them about Papa, they got so excited. We just need to come up with Papa's portfolio to get started. The kids Kyle and CJ were also with us too to get their haircut.

When I got home Ryan and I had to rush to catch the Harry Potter movie. It was a good movie although quiet hanging in the end. I can't wait for the next one. Then Ryan and I dined out and take out some food for Papa and Frankie. Sunday, Ryan watched Frankie while Papa and I went to church. We were out for 4 hours. We went to the mall, I had my eyebrows done, ate funnel cake and went got Frankie 5 fishes. I was so excited for him. Will talk about it more soon. All in all, it was a nice weekend although I wish it stayed a little longer.

    Baby Beddings For Less

    Thursday, July 16, 2009

Ryan and I were both very excited when we finally moved into our new house. We have three bedrooms and we immediately planned which room our future baby will be staying. Yes, it was exciting shopping for stuff to add in the house but a lot more exciting when we were shopping for our little Frankie. I did all my shopping online. I had a very critical pregnancy that I had to be on bed rest all the time. I even quit my job. I found some cute ones but some of them were ridiculously expensive. I wouldn’t have any problem if we are going to have another boy because we saved the ones that Frankie had but if we are going to have a girl, then we will definitely buy a new baby bedding set. I already know where to get one though and that would be through Babybeddingpalace.com. Their collection of Baby Bedding Sets are just gorgeous. I love this dragonfly lavender nursery baby crib bedding that you will find below.

It is a 12 piece set which includes, 1 baby crib quilt, 4 piece baby crib bumper, 1 baby crib fitted sheet, 1 baby crib skirt (dust ruffle), 2 extra wide window valances, 1 diaper stacker, 1 toy organizer and lastly 1 decorative pillow. I just love its color and how it will surely add beauty to your baby girl’s room. I will definitely get this when our time will come.

    Very Sore

I am so sore right now. I had to work overnight last night for a reset and its been a while since I did that. Some of the people are nice and some not really because until now they have no gotten over the fact that I have gotten the promotion and not them. It is so immature so I just let them be. As Ryan said they need to get over it at one point because they have to work with me and they will be very miserable every time they see me. Plus I am over them. It doesn't mean I have to be mean with them just they just need to really get over it.

I felt sorry for Ryan because we were supposed to go to the open house today at the Museum of Science and Industry. He got the tickets a while ago but I am so tired right now. I only got 6 hours of sleep and couldn't sleep anymore. I was just willing to go with him but he knew how I can get crabby when I am so tired and when we need to walk around. I am just thankful that he has tried to find ways to spend time with me. I told him that I will get a rain check and we can probably go there sometime soon, perhaps this weekend. Anyways, things are getting better. Just so many things to learn but I am sure, soon enough I will get there.

    Life Insurance For The Future

    Wednesday, July 8, 2009

After a long 6 months wait, we are finally on the process of getting Papa his own health insurance. We really thought it was that easy but we truly understand the long wait because there are some people who have abused the system. We are looking into using the same health insurance as what we have. At least we are already familiar with it. After the health insurance, we would like to get him and myself a life insurance. I understand how important it is to have a life insurance. As you know we are not getting any younger at least if something happens in the future, everything will be taken cared of including the funeral cost and the people we will leave behind. That is why I need to find a cheap life insurance that we can afford.

Wholesaleinsurance.net has the life insurance quotes and rates that we can pick at the convenience of our home. All we have to do is fill up the application form to get your quote to get started.

Can You Just Be Happy For Me?

This is what I kept telling myself yesterday after I met the team again. They were all so happy for me except one who also applied for the position. Of all the people I was hoping that he will be happy for me but I got a different response. I don't know if he was already told by the managers that I got the position. I was a little late so I was not able to join our huddle. I guess my supervisor announced it because when I came in everyone was congratulating me and I never said anything. After which he kept avoiding me and didn't say anything to me. I finally said hi to him and he said hi to me back and that was it. During our break he was very sarcastic to me and I never remember him acting like that to me. I say things and he try to contradict it. He was extremely mean to me but I didn't tell him off because I know he has been through a lot. The other lady who also got the position also got the same response from the people that she is working with. Good thing the morning people don't know me so it was a little better.

I got the position because I know I have the experienced and they all know how hard I work. I know all the people that applied for it thought they deserved to get it but management knows what they are doing. If I didn't get it I will feel a little sad but I wouldn't be mean to the ones who got it. For I know my time hasn't come yet. I am just glad that I don't have to deal with this childish attitude and I have only two more days and I am done.

    Las Vegas

    Monday, July 6, 2009

If Ryan will assign me to look for a hotel in Las Vegas where we can possibly stay if we ever visit there, I would have never figured it out on which one to go for. All I know is there are a lot of hotels and casinos in Las Vegas and booking or looking for one can be very overwhelming but just like any other travelers, I would like a hotel with very good accommodations at a very affordable price. I was expecting everything over there would be expensive but not if you book your hotel at Riviera hotel. You can visit their website today and find weekday specials and weekend specials complete with dates that you can avail. Now going to Las Vegas has never been so easy and affordable with Riviera hotel.

    Lipofuze

I was watching TV with my son a few days ago when a commercial about lipofuze went on. That was the first time I have heard and seen about lipofuze. To those who are not familiar with lipofuze, is a fat burner that contains 6 patented and 4 clinically proven ingredients according to the commercial. It got me interested so I searched the internet and came across Fatburner.net where they reviewed lipofuze with its ingredients, including its pros and cons. They also reviewed it based from the following, fat burning power, safety; return policy, fat loss speed, and overall value. Appetite suppression and user results as well. So the next time you are looking for a fat burner check out Fatburner.net with their top 3 best top burner.

    Our 4th of July

    Sunday, July 5, 2009

How did you spend your 4th of July? We got invitations but we didn't go to any of them but instead we stayed home (after working for a few hours) then later went to church. Ryan and I needed to go to Borders to pick up a book but they were already closed when we got there. We stopped by Target to get the SD card for the digital camera and ate at TGIF. It's been a while since we have gone there. Besides it was raining and we can't grill so we decided to go out. After we left the restaurant the rain stopped but we were not too interested with the fireworks. I don't know, it just doesn't fascinates us. I guess I have seen enough of fireworks when I was in the Philippines, so we all came home and watched a movie. I played with Frankie and went to bed early because we needed to get up early for Six Flags.

    We Need Two

Frankie is in an age where he gets through everything and tries to figure out how everything works. He has broken some of his toys and now he’s fascination is with the TVs we have in the house. He just loves switching them on and off. He also likes playing with its remote controls. In the living room even if our TV is placed on a high entertainment center, he still tries to find a way to change the channel or turn on the stereo for his music. He has tried taking the cushion from the couch and used it to reach the TV. He has also done stacking up his toys to get to the TV too. He is a very smart kid that is why Ryan and I are thinking of getting a couple of taller tv stands for our bedroom and Papa’s bedroom. So that he can still go in without having to play with the TV anymore. I can’t wait when this fascination of his subsides. Thankfully we can now look around online at Standsandmounts.com. With our busy schedule it is nice to know that ordering for a new TV stand is just a click away.

    Friday, July 3, 2009

After coming home from the farewell party and the pre-4th of July celebration from work, I hurriedly put Frankie to nap so that he will be up by the time his Dada and I had to take him to the post office for our passports. When we got there, I was so surprised that there were no car outside the post office but there were a lot at their parking lot on the other end. I told Ryan to wait in the car as I check if they are really open. As I walked by the door, there was a big notice saying that they are going to have a special holiday and that they are only open until noon.

I was so disappointed. I really wanted to have our passports done but I guess we have to make another time again. I can't process it without Ryan. It is their new law I guess that Dads are supposed to be with the kid during the application process. After stopping by the post office, we went ahead and got the camera that I have held at Kohl's. We normally do not sell cameras unless if there is an occasion coming up but I couldn't say no to the discount that I will be getting. Ryan didn't even care that it was red because he said, it is mine anyway. It is a 10.2 mp which I am a little shocked with the quality. It is super clear and I find it so weird. Ryan said because I am so used to of using the smaller mp. I told him that we need to have a camera for tomorrow that is why we went out and got one. We still need to get its own memory stick since I couldn't use the old one because it was only for Sony digital cameras. I should be able to record a better quality videos of Frankie soon. That I am so excited about.
