It has been 2 weeks since I last driven my car and I miss it. I have been driving Ryan's car and though it doesn't bother me but I miss the smallness of my car. About three weeks ago, Dad helped Ryan change the alternator of my car. We took it home and I was driving it for about a week or so when all of the sudden the positive-negative light went off again. I thought we just changed the alternator. I was so scared because I was actually in Bradley doing my projects. It was an off and on thing and it wasn't all red completely so it means it is still charging my battery also on and off. The next day, Ryan and I took separate cars and drop off my car at Van Drunen. While he was driving the car, the dashboard completely goes off and on again so he can't really tell how fast he was running. After a couple of days finding out what went wrong with it they finally found the culprit. The alternator that they just put in is defective and it was over charging my car. Thankfully we can just return it and get another one. We didn't have to pay much from Van Drunen and last Friday, we took the car to Dad's house.
This is the time when I am happy that we have an extra one or else I could have been stuck at home and not able to do my projects and go to work. Ryan has been taking the van and I have been driving his sable. I am starting to like it but I still like small cars.

Suppress It If You Can
Tuesday, May 26, 2009
I have always been skinny my entire life until I gain weight when I got pregnant with Frankie. I can’t believe how challenging it is actually to try to lose weight and had to gain it back again. Even if it is only a few pounds here and there but it is still very frustrating especially when I don’t have to struggle to lose weight before because as I said I have always been skinny. In fact during my younger years I was hoping to gain weight. I am taller than most Filipinas and being skinny really did deplete my confidence. Those were definitely the days although a wonder if taking advantage of those natural appetite suppressant will help me lose the weight. I may have to read more to see which one will work best.

It Will Be A Suprise
Ryan and I have been planning to get Papa an SLR Canon camera soon. We both know that he has been saving for it for the longest time but every time he has the money, it always get sent home to help out Ging-ging in school which of course the main priority. He has been a super-duper help around here and I can’t believe life now without him. I know we managed before but then again I was not able to also help out Ryan. We know and we see his hard work so we would like to make him happy. We are still waiting for the right time to get it for him.
Unfortunately, it won’t be as soon as father’s day (we are already planning something for him) but hopefully it will be at the end of the month of June. I am sure he won’t be able to know about our plan since he doesn’t read any of my blogs. Anyways, we know exactly where to go get the camera. It will surely be in the store while the sd card will be from buy.com because they have a lot of digital SD cards to choose from at a reasonable price. You can even buy new or used to save even more. I am so excited. I can’t wait to see the look on his face when this day comes.

My Brother's Beautiful Family
Monday, May 25, 2009

Little Gadi's baptism is finally over and I have so much pictures to share. My siblings have uploaded them all in friendster so all I did was grab them. Anyways, I can't help but share these pictures of my brother's family. They just look so happy together. Dan-dan has been really nice to Gadi as well too. I asked my brother when I talked to him a couple of days ago but they still need to watch him of course while he is around Gadi because like another other kids, he doesn't realize that he is a little baby. The one below is another of them. As you can see Dan-dan is holding his brother's hand. What a lovely family picture indeed. I may have to print a copy to hang here in Papa's room.

Outer Banks Rentals
Monday, May 18, 2009
Ryan and I love our real estate agent. He was very accommodating to us especially to every needs and questions that we had. Even if he went out of town, he entrusted us with someone dependable who was also very helpful on our house search. In our next house venture, we will definitely be contacting him again because we were so pleased with our experience.
It is always nice to have someone you can trust especially in this very crucial matter. In fact, if you are planning to sell, buy or take advantage of the Outer Banks rentals in North Carolina you should check out Carolinadesigns.com to help you specifically around Corolla, Duck, Kill Devil Hills, Kitty Hawk, Nags Head & Southern Shores. You'll never go wrong.

The Flag Is Up
For almost two years now the flag pole that we have in front of the house has been standing still by itself. We have a couple of flags placed there but either they are starting to fall apart from the rain and shine or it got rippled off from the wind. Since then Ryan kept telling me that we are going to buy one but kept forgetting or the size is too small. Finally yesterday, Ryan and I went to Target and since it is almost Memorial day, we were able to find the perfect size for our flag pole. It actually looks so nice up there. The flag pole came with the house when we bought it. The previous owner of the house used to work for the government so I guess that was the reason why she had the flag pole added.

Phenphedrine Reviews
Don’t you just wish you can wake up one day and shed all the pounds you want to get rid? I know wishful thinking, right? But it seems like the older you get the harder it is to get rid of the extra pounds. This morning I weigh myself again to see if I have lost some lbs and I did shed three pounds off but I am still 15 lbs. away from my pre-pregnancy weight. I am not that motivated lately to run in the treadmill. There are so much stuff going on that dieting and exercising is the last thing on my mind. Maybe I will be back on track again with up coming days/weeks. There is this one diet pill that I am so interested to learn about. I have searched about the different phenphedrine reviews of people who have used it and so far so good. I may have to use it myself.

A Property That Could Be Yours
Friday, May 15, 2009
Have you ever won anything in your entire life? I have to say I did all the time when I was younger. My Aunt took me and my sisters to an event which was called “walk for fun” and the proceeds were going to benefit the street children in Cebu. I had two entries for the raffle and both of my tickets won. That was my first memory of winning something really big. Occasionally I find myself winning during a get together party or Christmas parties but one thing that I am hoping to win is the home lottery that RE/MAX Properties, the number one retail agency of St. Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands is giving away. Do you want to know the lovely price? Just take a look at the beautiful picture below.
Isn’t it breath-taking? That is only the outside. Wait till you get to the inside which I will let you check it out yourself by visiting their website. It is definitely stunning. It is a beautiful fully furnished 6 bedroom, 6.5 bath waterfront property over looking the grand Atlantic Ocean. It is one of the St. Thomas Villas. All you have to do is join the raffle for only $100.00. You can even buy more for more chances of winning. The winner will receive the warranty deed inclusive of the land and villa. So what are you waiting for? This could be the best $100.00, you ever spent.

I Thought I Could Do It
Tuesday, May 12, 2009
Before I started working more hours and with two other part-time jobs that I have, I was very confident that I would still be able to update my blogs. I thought I will try to find time to write paid ones and also to post updates. Well, I was wrong. I also need time to rest. I don't even check triple P anymore. It used to be the very first website I visit when I get to the computer. I checked its side kick and I have seen older opps that are available for me but too lazy to do it. When I get the chance I play with Frankie in the backyard or clean the house/floor. I am trying to make up the time that I am not home. My paypal has truly been affected but as long as I get the little amount to add to what I always send the Philippines, then I consider myself good. I have taken 2 days off so I will be working on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. I will try to leave the house early tomorrow so that I will be home early in the afternoon to play with Frankie.

We Need A New One
Monday, May 11, 2009
I insisted to Ryan that we need to get an area rug in time for Frankie’s baptism. We had our floor changed from carpet to wood and it looked so bare without it. We went to one of our local retail store around and I found one which I think would be nice for our floor. Ryan didn’t like it but I insisted. It was quiet expensive and when we got home, Ryan was right, it didn’t look nice on our floor. I don’t know what I was thinking. What is even worst is, we bought 2 of them and now it is falling apart and the color is fading. I really want to have it changed but I am waiting for the right timing or find a place where we can get it for less. Thankfully I came across Rugsale.com online. I love their selections of area rugs. What is even better is they have free shipping and 30%-90% off on selected area rugs. I need to show it to Ryan because he might like something to replace the ones we have that is ready to retire.

Crazy Week Schedule
Saturday, May 9, 2009
Monday I just did a few projects for Spar. I only have a few that was why I wanted to finish them all in one day. I work 4 days at Kohl's and 2 days with Prism so I wanted it done. Well, out of the blue our Spar DM added tons of projects for me. The lady who was doing it was in a heart attack and she need someone to cover it for her. I heard she will be out for probably more than 2 months. I should be happy right? I wasn't when I saw the projects because I was wondering when can I possibly squeeze them in my already busy schedule. Tuesday, I work early in the morning till 5:00 p.m. and I came home to change and relax and off I went to work at Kohl's. Wednesday morning I was off so I decided to take advanatage of the free time. I did Spar and came home to work again for Kohl's. Thursday morning was such a pain to get up because I only got 4 hours of sleep because I can't sleep.
Good thing the POG set was only in Olympia Fields which is less then a mile away from our house. I was so tired at Kohl's but I managed. Friday morning I slept until 11:30 a.m. and it was so nice. I have a couple of projects that needed to be done last Friday but I didn't leave until I gave Frankie a bath and his lunch. I am actually losing weight with his kind of set up. BTW, last Friday a got call for another gig promising me 24 to 32 hours per week with a nice per hour rate. I passed the pre-screen but she promised me that I will get a call this Monday from them. Honestly, I am all contended with what I am doing right now already but if I get this one I will definitely get rid of either one of the two.

Camera
Sunday, May 3, 2009
Papa is a professional photographer when he was in the Philippines. It started when he got his very first camera when he was working in Libya. He was using it to capture the different places that he has visited and when he got home he started taking pictures for weddings, graduations, birthdays and more. He really enjoyed doing it. I am sure he misses taking pictures especially when we go places. Ryan and I have promised to get him a professional camera. Besides we need him to take pictures for our wedding in the Philippines soon so that we don't have to hire anybody. There is already one camera that he has been keeping an eye on and with just the micro sd, it will be good to go. Hopefully we can get it for him soon so that he can start playing with it. He said, Frankie will surely be his main subject.

Mass
Ryan and I went to St. Liborious again this past weekend. We left Frankie and Papa at home since Papa will be going to church on Sunday. As usual there were quiet a lot of people there. The older couple that was seated in front of us had a pack of wet ones with her. I was a little worried how it is going to be during the "peace be with you" part because I know a lot of people are panicking with the swine flu. I don't blame them though but I just hope they won't take it to the extreme. I don't know if I would be thankful or not but the priest skipped the "peace be with you" part and went on. Ryan and I just looked at each other, shook each other's hand and kissed. I know it has been a part of the service since I can remember but somehow I felt relieved because I don't know what would I do if I give my hand out to someone and they will refuse. They have also taken the giving out of the wine during holy communion.
The more I go to St. Liborious, the more I appreciate how it looked so much like the Philippines. The set up, almost everything. I am glad that we have decided to go there from now on.

Baby Announcements
When I realized that my sister in law is approaching her last trimester I suggested to my brother to go to www.peartreegreetings.com so that he can pick one of the many baby announcements that they have. I wanted to let all our relatives and friends know about the new addition of our family. They already know that it is a boy and they named him Gadi, Ismael. We have relatives that are basically scattered all over the world and I am sure they will appreciate it if they get something from them especially a picture of the little one. With the beautiful selection that www.peartreegreetings.com has, picking one will be hard because they are equally beautiful.
