IL Governor Arrested
I never liked politics but I can’t help but comment on this one. I read a little bit about it yesterday but too busy to make an entry regarding this until now. What I am referring to is the arrest of our governor here in Illinois Rod Blagojevich for Federal Corruption Charges. I have been here in the US for almost 6 years and since I got here, he was the only governor that I have known that governed IL. It was said that he conspired to sell or trade President-elect Barack Obama’s vacant Senate seat to the highest bidder as part of what federal prosecutors called a “political corruption crime spree”. How sad isn’t it? Now a lot of people wants him to be out of office and calling for his resignation including the newly elected President-elect Barack Obama and if he insist in staying then, some wants him impeached.
