Mango Blues
January 21st, 2008 | Author: inin
We have a huge mango tree in front of our second house back in the Philippines. Actually, nobody planted that tree. It was one of us who throw the mango seed that we were eating and it started growing. My aunt who happened to be staying with us then nurtured the little plant until it grew that big. After 5 years it started bearing fruit and we have been happy since. Its fruits used to touch the ground that papa had to tie it to its branches so that it won’t go bad from touching the ground. That mango tree and the jackfruit tree are 2 of the trees I missed. When I feel like it before, I just climb up the tree and get some mangga. Magbawon pa jud asin … yum galaway ko.
