Toilet Paper Wedding Gown Contest Winners!!

    Tuesday, October 30, 2007

First off, happy Halloween everybody. So today will be the day that our little Frankie will wear his puppy outfit. I can't wait. Anyways, I got another email from our Aunt Pat and I find this one very interesting really pretty. The gowns found in the pictures are made of toilet papers. I can't believe it. It doesn't even look like one. The detail is just really great. I just hope it won't rain. :o) Pictures from honorable mention to the first place.

    Have You Consider Lasik?

I started wearing glasses when I was teaching. It must have been the computer because I remember working overtime with it just to finish my website. My parents and 2 of my siblings wear one too. I can’t remember how many eye glasses I already have thrown-out, lost and broken and much how money I have spent. My eyes have just gotten worst lately with astigmatism. I hate wearing eye glasses. Who does? I have also opted to use contact lenses but it won’t work for me. The doctor said my eyes are too dry that wearing contact lenses will hurt and bother me. So one last resort, Lasik.

I still need a lot of readings to do about Lasik. To me the importance of the doctor selection for the eye surgery is as important as when I am going for a heart surgery. I can't just trust anybody. They have to be evaluated and certified . My problem is I don’t have time to look around. Good thing I came across USAEyes. They are a nonprofit lasik patient advocacy that provides list of lasik doctors that have been certified by the non-profit organizations and their services are free. If you want to read more about USAEyes check their recent lasik news.

    Protective Gear

I feel sorry for Frankie. He doesn't like to be held and he likes crawling but the problem is he has been banging his head all over the place. Poor little head. He doesn't cry if he bangs his head once or twice but when it is the third time then he stars pouting his lips. I always grab him whenever I see that he is about to hit his head again but I just couldn't keep an eye of him all the time. He is so mobile already that the next thing I know he is already out the door on his way to his room and whenever I call him he seems to crawl faster away from me with this goofy look on his face. I wish there is a protective gear that I could use to keep him from banging his little head.

    I Love You Ma

This was Garf's question for me. When was the last time I said I love you Nay?

Mama grew up from a big family. Although there is love around but being the eldest daughter and sister of 8 she has to take care of her siblings. Her parents were not expressive either so saying I love you to her is not commonly used. Papa in the other hand is the youngest. Grew up from a loving and affectionate home. He is never afraid to kiss my lolo when he sees him in the street. Papa was very expressive, mama isn't.

All of us grew up to be expressive and affectionate just like Papa. But whenever we tell mama that we love her all we hear is a "o or hum..."Until I got here. Whenever I talked to her over the phone she seems to be responsive whenever I tell her how much I miss her and I love her. I now hear I love you too from her. I can't remember when was the last time we talked but I definitely told her how much I love her. YM I talked to them yesterday and as we said our goodbyes, there was another I love you from her.

    Frigidaire Ranges

I remember my mother complaining about the electric bill every summer. She explained that every summer when it is hot outside the refrigerator works extra harder to compensate the heat outside and to keep the food cold. It is also the reason why their life expectancy doesn’t last too long. I remember it breaking down all the time until it completely died on us. Living in a tropical country before was also the reason.

Here in the US I am so amazed how easy it is to replace a broken appliance by searching through the internet. Yes it might be convenient to stay home and search but would it be great if you don’t have to go anywhere but one place? Krillion Localization Engine ™ just does the trick by finding in the web the actionable local search results for the ready-to-buy consumer. So when you are done, all you have to do is go buy the product in the location that is provided. Search through major appliances with Krillion’s help. If you are looking into buying a new range check out the Frigidaire Ranges. On your next search don’t forget to use Krillion Localization Engine ™ .

    To All Mommies Out There

Mom and Dad were watching TV when Mom said, "I'm tired, and it's getting late. I think I'll go to bed"

She went to the kitchen to make sandwiches for the next day's lunches.

Rinsed out the popcorn bowls, took meat out of the freezer for supper the following evening, checked the cereal box levels, filled the sugar container, put spoons and bowls on the table and started the coffee pot for brewing the next morning.

She then put some wet clothes in the dryer, put a load of clothes into the washer , ironed a shirt and secured a loose button

She picked up the game pieces left on the table, put the phone back on the charger and put the telephone book into the drawer.

She watered the plants, emptied a wastebasket and hung up a towel to dry.

She yawned and stretched and headed for the bedroom. She stopped by the desk and wrote a note to the teacher, counted out some cash for the field trip, and pulled a text book out from hiding under the chair.

She signed a birthday card for a friend, addressed and stamped the envelope and wrote a quick note for the grocery store. She put both near her purse.

Mom then washed her face with 3 in 1 cleanser, put on her Night solution & age fighting moisturizer, brushed and flossed her teeth and filed her nails.

Dad called out, "I thought you were going to bed."

"I'm on my way," she said.

She put some water into the dog's dish and put the cat outside, then made sure the doors were locked and the patio light was on.

She looked in on each of the kids and turned out their bedside lamps and TV's , hung up a shirt, threw some dirty socks into the hamper, and had a brief conversation with the one up still doing homework.

In her own room, she set the alarm; laid out clothing for the next day, straightened up the shoe rack. She added three things to her 6 most important things to do list. She said her prayers, and visualized the accomplishment of her goals.

About that time, Dad turned off the TV and announced to no one in particular. "I'm going to bed."

    And he did...without another thought.

Anything extraordinary here? Wonder why women live longer...?

CAUSE WE ARE MADE FOR THE LONG HAUL..... (and we can't die sooner, we still have things to do!!!!)

    THEN, GO TO BED!

    Our Little Visit

We went to see Daphne today and she is feeling a lot better. It is so said that when she got sick her friends abandoned her but I am glad that she knew their real color. She was so happy to see us and we are so happy to see her and Jack as well. They were both so fascinated with Frankie and he was so behaved. He was playing most of the time with Jack while Daphne and I were trying to catch up. I am glad they she left target as well because it is not worth it especially with the situation she is in. Too bad I was not able to take some pictures because my battery died but we promised to back on Wednesday for trick or treat. I love them both.

    Visiting Daphne

We are going out later today to visit Daphne. We use to work together and she came by during Frankie's baptism. She is not in her best health lately and I felt guilty that I haven't call her. Since I will finish early with the opps today I figure to go see her. She is the nicest lady I have ever met. She is so sweet and genuine. I also love her British accent. Both her and her husband adore Frankie. Today too is a day to clean up and answer all those messages in my friendster. Have a wonderful day guys.

    He Will Be A Puppy

Two days from now is trick or treating. Yehey I am so excited for Frankie. Our little guy will be a puppy. He look so cute in it and I hope the outfit still fits him since it has been awhile when I bought it. Ryan said that he will not work overtime on Wednesday so that he can come with us. Well he better be. I will surely take tons of pictures to send it to the Philippines. The last time he tried it on, it was just ok for him. They don't have any bigger size anymore and besides I don't want it too big for him. So there, 2 more days to go.

    Blond Hair???

I have seen Frankie' s hair coming in but I can't help but notice that some parts of this head's hair are coming in blond. That would be really neat if he will eventually have Ryan's hair. I have been longing for him to have hair. I have always wonder how would he look with some hair on. Anyways, Monday again folks. Hope you will have a terrific Monday.

    Ouch!

We got home from the store and I was so excited to get rid of the twist ties in Frankie’s new cellphone toy that I bought. I figure that he will like it since he always gets fascinated whenever he sees me with my cellphone because he knows that I am talking with his Papa. He just woke-up when I held the pair of scissors. He placed his finger in between the handle and I didn't see it. As was trying to cut the ties, his finger got smashed in between and of course he immediately cried. I felt sooooo bad. I felt like a horrible mother. Well this wasn’t the first time though. He was sleeping peacefully when I decided to cut his fingernails. Don’t you just hate them? They grow so fast. I always do that while he is asleep because he moves a lot when he is awake. As you all know I have some issues with my eyes and I accidentally cut the skin instead of the fingernail. It wasn’t bleeding though but I cut it really close to the skin that it was almost about to open. I felt bad because he cried to hard from peacefully sleeping. I am pretty sure there will be more but hopefully not.

    Thinking Out Loud Frankie

    Our Frankie

    Sunday, October 28, 2007

So far I don't have a problem with Frankie when it comes to interacting with other people. His nurse has told us about stranger-danger before. It is a stage where babies have the tendency to cry when they see people that they usually don't see. I haven't noticed that with Frankie though. Yeah, you might think it's because we are home all the time. No I always take him with me to go places and whenever we stop by Target he is the star to my old co-workers. They usually pass him from one person to the other and I never remember him crying even when he is tried and sleepy. Last week we visited Hattie after dining out somewhere. There was no guest at the guest service so we stopped by. She was giggling and laughing so hard because Frankie was trying to talk to her with his coos and trying to get her attention. Whenever she laughs he does too. She said to come visit her anytime. Waking up in the morning is also not a problem. I remember some babies crying when they wake during the night or in the morning. Frankie only cries when he couldn't find his pacifier and he needs his milk. Even when I am still writing and he wakes up, I just place him in his swing and he is just contended staring at me and while I make faces to him once in a while. I am just so happy with his demeanor all in all. This is actually a pay back after having a very hard pregnancy.

He is also very "paraygon". When I sleep right next to him he usually go so close to my body magpagakos intawon.

    At Last

We finally went to the Filipino store yesterday. I was so excited. We got lost though because the restaurant was very small. We kept driving for 25 minutes until we found it. I love it. The place was so clean and the people were so friendly. Imagine I only paid them $15.00 and they asked me if I want to take some home because they are about to close anyway. Of course I readily said. Wish we don't have to drive 30 mins. away from the house but it is worth it. Ryan said hopefully soon we can move somewhere close.

    Tag from Darl

    Thanks Darl as always.

    1. Do you take vitamins and if so, what?
    - No I don't . I have the one for the bones and I kept forgetting it. I think it's been weeks since I have taken one.

    2. Do you make an effort to eat healthy, or you eat whatever you feel like eating?
    - Well it depends on what we have here. If I don't like it I won't eat it. So it depends on what I feel like eating.

    3. What two types of food do you have a hard time staying away from?
    - Any chiciria from the Filipino store and ice cream.

    4. What are two food items you refuse to eat?
    - Nothing really. As long as I didn't cook it I am fine.

    5. Are you pleased with your daily diet or do you think it could be better?
    - I can certainly do better. I usually don't eat breakfast. I don't feel like eating early in the morning especially now that I am not longer pregnant.

    Dollar vs. Pesos

I just recently sent money to the Philippines and I can't believe how low the dollar is vs. peso. It was P43.11 to be exact. I know... I know... I should be happy right? because the economy is booming in the Philippines but as what my mama said they don't feel it. Everything are still expensive. Jeepney fare kept rising and gas are still going up. I remember back in 2002 when Ryan and Dad visited me. The dollar exchange rate then was P55.00 then. It surely plunged all the way down. Sorry guys but I am hoping this would be it because if you are like me who is sending a sister to college every little thing helps.

    Missing Our Purple Bathroom

When we first bought our house I told Ryan that I want the master's bedroom painted purple. He didn't complain because we ended up painting the small bathroom blue. Last December, Ryan and Dad ended up ripping the entire bathroom including the floors and they want everything to match so I have to say goodbye to the purple everything that I have in there. Even the toilet seat was purple. The toothbrush holder, the toilet bowl cleaner was purple and the runner too. Now it's all white. The vanity, the cabinets everything. Too blah but we are planning to sell the house soon so we have to make the colors neutral.

Isn't it too obvious that I love purple?

    I miss them all

    Being Shy and Teaching

    Tuesday, October 23, 2007

I am a shy person but I can be a different person when you put me in a classroom. I love being in a room full of kids. It always boosts my confidence. I was only 20 when I graduated college and landed on my first teaching job in an international school. 80% of the teachers were may kaya. Hatid sundo with a driver that kind of thing. So I felt so left out. Luckily I met this girl named Roxane. We came from the same school, she was 2 years older than me and the same town so we always do everything together even going home. One day the owner came to the school because she wanted us to make a demo about multi-tasking applying it to our field of spec. I was really worried because I know my confidence was -10. I did well during the interview and the demo with the dean but it is different when you are in a crowd full of intelligent, sassy co-teachers that makes you feel like the smallest person in the room. Yeah they were not that nice. I was paired with another history teacher named Olive. I made the power point presentations. We practiced and everything went well but the moment I started facing all of them, I froze. I was speechless. You can't even get a word out of my mouth. Luckily the owner had to go answer a call so she did not see me. The dean let me sit to relax. It was the most embarrassing chapter of my life.

I didn't know where I got all the confidence when I do all the plays in high school and college. I was even nominated as student teacher of the year but all went downhill after I met those people. At the end of the year I got an outstanding review for being a wonderful teacher. I hate public speaking who doesn't? But put me with a bunch of kids and I know how to make them love history.

    You Are 44% Shy

Although you live a pretty normal life, you tend to be a fairly shy person.
Many situations make you feel uncomfortable, and you sometimes find your shyness hindering your life.

    Stocking Baby Food

I go shopping every week for Frankie's food and milk. It is very expensive I know but what can we do? I am just happy that he is eating well and has been taking his vitamins. I don't know what would I do if he doesn't eat the baby food. I am so unskilled when it comes to this. The baby food that I posted long time ago that Ryan got were long gone. I didn't have the time to arrange them. I can't wait when we don't have to buy some baby food. It is really costly.

    So anxious for his lunch.

    Our First Christmas Tree

I can't believe it is almost Christmas. This will be my fifth Christmas here in the US. My first Christmas was alright but I was so homesick. Ryan and I then worked retail and retail is not that best place to work during the holiday season. I was also a little shocked because in the Philippines there was a crowd, music, noises and kabooming but here it was so quiet. I started to get used to it after a while. I know this year will be fun with Frankie around. I can't wait. This was our first Christmas tree in our bedroom.

We plan to put together the big tree this year. It will be fun.

    Proofread and Halloween

Don't you just hate proofreading? I thought I had it all worded right with the grammer and spelling checked and when I publish it, I see some more words that I missed. Sometimes I think ahead that even if the word is not there, I read it. It makes me feel dumb. Anyways, it's Monday again tomorrow and before we know it will be weekend again. I am so excited for Halloween this year because it will be Frankie's first. Ryan will make sure that he will not work overtime that day so that he can come with us. I already made arrangements with our neighbors Bob and Mary and Woody and Elsa that we are going to be trick or treating at their house. Last year I was pregnant and was so sick so I ended up staying home. I prepared some candies but nobody rung our doorbell. Well I decided to turn off the outside light because I don't think I had enough candy for everybody. I was checking on the papers today and K-Mart actually have it 40% off while Target is 30% clearance. After the Halloween I have to make sure to go shopping for candies for the Philippines. Frankie is still asleep and it is already 7:48 p.m. He will surely be up with me later. Have a good night folks.

    You Are Wonder Woman

A true goddess, you have the strength and skills to rule the world.

You're one sexy amazon... all of the superhero guys are fighting over you!

    What Superhero Are You?

I grew up watching wonder woman back in the Philippines. Isn't she beautiful? It makes me think that women are also capable of doing a lot of stuff like men. You know the kicking the behind part. She always reminds me of beauty and strength. I miss all those super heroes shows before when I was growing up. I haven't been watching heroes lately too but I never miss smallville. If Ryan ask me to go somewhere in a Thursday night, it's a big NO! :O)

    What are you?

    You Are An Intro-Extrovert!

    Sometimes you're social - sometimes you're shy

You've got a bit of an Introvert / Extrovert split going on

You enjoy all sorts of situations. Parties, small groups, and alone time.

Too much of one, and you'll long for the other. You need variety!

Chances are, you've got both serious and fun friends - and they don't get along.

Are You An Extroverted or Introverted Girl?

This is so true. I can be whichever depending on the situation. I don't react well on a large group especially when I don't know anyone. It seems like I have a hard time fitting in. A small group is not as bad. It seems manageable. Now handling 50 students are different. That I can manage very well. How about you?

    Just Thinking

For now we do not have any plans for the weekend. I just want to stay home and clean but with Ryan there is no guarantee. He can be spontaneous. Friday afternoon we are going to pick up the van from Van Drunen. They finally fixed the broken handle and some other things. I am so glad we have the warranty for that or it could have cost us $600.00. Anyways, my sister's needs has increased so it only means my staying in the computer has increased as well. I can't afford to miss some opps that is what I have been telling Ryan every time he takes us places. I am just thankful that Frankie is a very cooperative baby or I will be screwed. Have a wonderful Thursday guys.

Open Your Store Online In A Breeze with Ashop

The easiest way to build a small time business nowadays is by creating an online store. Like for example, I have some native handbags and purses that I would like to sell. Where do I start? I can’t open a store in a mall because my merchandise can’t fill a room. Not to mention all the hassle of getting a space and the costs that I will incur. Advertising the store and my products can be costly too. I also would like to do this part-time.

With Ashop Commerce’s affordable ecommerce software, you can create your store easily online with all the added support that you can get. If you don’t know much, the shopping cart software is web based so there is no installation required. They have fully customized design to suit your style. Plus accepting credit cards as payments is a breeze with ecommerce software. As an added feature, the shopping cart is also search engine friendly. It’s a good way to boast your store online. Try them out today for 10 days and see what’s in stored for you.

    Problem Solved

Remember I asked in my previous post on how to give Frankie his vitamins? I am happy to report that he has been taking it for the past few days. Thanks to his Papa. Two days ago I asked Ryan if he can try to give it to Frankie. I felt so hopeless since the last time I gave it to him he almost choked. I understand because I can't even stand the smell of it. So Ryan started playing with him. Tried imitating his facial expression and asked him to open his mouth wide. Ryan opened his too then as he placed the dropper in Frankie's mouth, Ryan made some gulping sound and kept saying swallow then kept saying yum...yum...Frankie seems to be fine. Ryan always tickle him afterwards and tell him good boy. It has worked for the past few days. No throwing up from him yet so hopefully magtuloy-tuloy na.

    Bad Credit ? No Problem

We work hard to provide for our family’s basic needs and necessity. Who doesn’t? But it seems to me like all we do is work to pay bills and sometimes barely or have nothing left to enjoy for ourselves. Even sometimes end up with bad credit. Nobody wants to be in that situation. It just gets harder to eliminate and hard to get caught up with. Luckily BadCreditOffers.com, a free consumer resource is dedicated to help those who have a not so perfect credit to get back to its feet. They try to find the best bad credit offers and compile it in one place for easy access and review. Find the category that fits your needs and be on your way to the financial freedom that you deserve.

    Battery Again???

My car’s battery died today. We were surprised because the battery is not even that old. So Ryan took it to Sears and thought of having it replaced. The sear’s guy said that even if the car is not used it drains the battery because of its internal chip/computer that uses the battery’s power. And I not driving it a lot is not helping. He suggested that I need to at least drive the car once a week and start it every 2 days. So I told Ryan that since I have schedules on where and when to go, he can take my car and use it every other day. I am glad it is back now. Ryan just put the battery in by himself.

    Taking Vitamins

I am not expert when it comes to babies. The smallest I had taught before was 4 years old. I have been having a problem with Frankie lately with his vitamins. I placed it twice in his mouth and both times he choked. The taste must be so nasty. He swallowed it all though but you should have seen the look on his face. The next day I decided to mix it with his milk. He only had 2 oz. and didn't bother finishing the rest. By just smelling the nipple, I can tell the strong scent of the vitamin. What else should I do? Where else can I add it that he can take. If I can't figure this out I will call the doctor but there might be suggestions from mommies out there that may help. Thanks!

    Movies and Pizza

    Friday, October 12, 2007

It's been a while since Ryan and I are in the living room watching a movie. It was always either I am in the computer or he is or I kept going back and forth. So today we were in the living room watching a movie. Blame it to the virus. I couldn't do anything much in the computer that is why I am out there. Hopefully he will be able to reformat this tomorrow and will be back the way it used to. It is really annoying and aggravating when you are trying to post something. Earlier it took me 3 hours just to post a single post in my blog and submit it to PPP. Very very annoying.

Anyways, to those who have no visited our own domain blog. We would like to see you there. Please leave me a tag if you want to be added.

    Sixth Month Update

    Thursday, October 11, 2007

Last Saturday was Frankie's 6th month visit. Our sonny kid is growing very well. He now weighs 19.13 lbs which is 86% of his weight and he is already 97% of his height. Yes, the doctor said he is a tall baby. He is now on stage 2 on the baby food.

Here the lists of his Milestones:

    1. He can now sit assisted but easily falls off because while sitting he likes grabbing whatever that he sees.

    2. He loves to pull my hair and enjoys grabbing my glasses. I always tell him that he is lucky because he doesn't have any hair that I can grab.

    3. Scoots now and chews whatever comes his way.

    4. He is very attentive and curious.

    5. He prefers drinking his juice or water from a glass rather than in a sippy cup. Enjoys his meal 3 times a day and has been sleeping great through out the night.

    6. He still is a happy baby. He knows the computer and like messing with the keyboard and the mouse.

    7. Has outgrown his 9 month size clothes. Is wearing 12 months now.

    8. This I find interesting. Whenever he farts he looks at me and give me this beautiful smile then hide his face. As if he knows that farting loud is a big no-no.

Taken today with his new pj. It kept him warm and comfy

    The Making of Miss Saigon

As I have said before I am an avid fan of Miss Saigon. I tried to check it in netflix before to see if they have the dvd of the original cast but all they have is the making of Miss Saigon. I just love watching it over and over again. I thought Lea was the only Filipina in the cast. Monique Wilson was one of them, Isay and Pinky Amador were some of the dancers too. May maraming din palang Pinoy na nag audition. Ang cute pa doon ni Lea, batang bata pa. The intense practice and prepations were great. If your interested it's available at Netflix. A must see.

    Lechon Kawali

We went to the Filipino store last Sunday hoping that the take out place was open but they were not. I thought the owner told me before that they are open 7 days a week. I guess the cook went back to the Philippines so they are currently looking for someone to replace him. So I ended up shopping for some Filipino goddies when I came across some pork belly in the refregirated section. I have been craving for some lechon kawali anyway so I decided to grab some. Got home and cooked it that night. I had to resume cooking the next day because our smoke detector went off. The house was pretty sealed when I was roasting it and it was already late and Ryan had to go to bed. The next day I opened all the windows while doing it. It tasted so yummy and the skin was sooooo crunchy. It might not look too appealing to some but it was the bomb for me. The meat was dry just about perfect for a suka and patis dip.

    Dating Tips From The Pro

People vary differently on their views about dating. Some people think of it as a pass time, to put thrill back to their lives. Others consider dating as a start of a possible life-long commitment. So how do you differentiate traditional dating from modern dating? For me I define traditional dating as to get to know each other stage without the hanky panky. Meaning there is no or a little kissing and no sex. The same man through out the entire dating period until they get married. Modern dating to me seems to be a little casual. It is more laid-back and no rush kind of thing. It is like trying a pair of shoes on. If one doesn’t fit you go look for another one until you find the one that fits.

One good example is my best friend in college. Dating has always been his problem. We went to a school that was mainly populated by women. Almost 85% were women and 15% were men. Among the 15% only 5 % were real straight men and the rest were gay. So every time he dates someone he is usually mistaken as either gay because he acts a little feminine or simply not interested. He looked ok to me. He is a history teacher and has dated a lot of women and nothing worked. He is starting to believe that he is a failure.

Good thing I came across this modern dating site called themodernman.com. I can definitely recommend this to my bachelor friend. It’s dating the easy way by setting your goals and what you want to achieve in the dating aspect. You can also get good advice at this dating web site. Like how to build your confidence, how to attract women and tips on your first date just to name a few. Listen to their free video about the modern man regarding approaching women, attraction triggers, conversation and much much more.

Check out the book, The Flow: The revolutionary 4-step process for approaching women and getting dates and when you buy The Flow, ebooklet for free. It’s packed with the greatest advice, strategies and techniques in attracting and meeting women. Everytime I Wake Up In The Morning... I Always See His Smile

    Saturday, October 6, 2007

That's the beautiful smile that greets me every morning. Frankie cries very seldom when he wakes up in the morning not unless if he has been awake for a while and he hasn't seen me. But the moment I open the door and call out his name, he just give me this beautiful smile. What can I say? All the hard work that comes with being a mom just fades away everytime I see that beautiful smiles. I am truly in love.

In another note, I just changed the classic template I had with beta. Thanks to Darlene, she helped me a lot. Now I am hoping that we can change the colors and the background the way it was before. That is why as you can see the widget's colors are a little mixed up. Also, for some reason the comment box won't show-up. So if you have something to say please leave it in my tagboard. Have a wonderful Sunday guys.

    Gerber Baby

    Friday, October 5, 2007

Taken during my niece's birthday party. Hopefully he will grow more hair soon for winter. I like it when he doesn't have that much hair because it only means I don't have to cut it but the hair will keep his little head warm.

    Off to watch a movie

    Wednesday, October 3, 2007

I am off in a little bit to watch Fantastic 4. Ryan wanted it returned right away. We have not even seen the Perfect Stranger yet. We will probably cancel netflix. I have been telling Ryan for the longest time.

Ryan is enjoying Frankie now. He is all over the place trying to grab everything. It seems to facinate him that he can move now. It is facinating alright. :)

    Packages mailed

We finally mailed our little gift for my little sister's birthday. Hopefully it will get there in less than a month. I was such in a hurry because I thought they close on 4:30 p.m. well they actually close at 6:00 p.m. I also picked up the requirements that I need in applying a US passport. It surely is very expensive. I am supposed to pay $97.00. I will ask Ryan if Frankie can get his too. It will be neat having his little face in the passport.

    Kohls

    Tuesday, October 2, 2007

We are finally set for winter for Frankie. Last Sunday we went to Kohls to buy him a snow suit. We picked the 12m for $67.00. It was very expensive I thought. Luckily it was on sale for 30% and we have a coupon for 15% off. There were a lot of sales that Ryan was able to get 5 clothes and I was able to pick up some shirts for my brothers. I just love that store. I am glad that they are opening one closer to our house.

    Like Father, Like Son

Whenever I look at Ryan's baby pictures, I couldn't help but smile because they almost look the same with Frankie. He is Frankie's dad alright. Recently, I have seen some traits of Frankie that I also see in Ryan. It's really neat. No wonder little Frankie just love his dad.

    Just Showing Some Appreciation

    Monday, October 1, 2007

I got another award and this time it's from Genny. I would like to return the award to Genny. Despite the busy schedule that I have and seldom have time to take a peek at her blog but she still considered me thoughtful. Thank you so much Genny.

I would like to recognize fellow bloggers who have never ceased to show their thoughtfulness to moi:

Mama Tess, I talk to her everyday. It is nice when you can share in a person especially on the things that you have so much in common. Despite her busy schedule, she always peek at my blogs and leave messages.

Vicky, you never get tired of leaving message in my blog especially when it's about Frankie and letting me know when there are opps elsewhere. It's so thoughtful of you.

Recel, my buzz buddy. Recel and I have small kids so we have so much on our plate that sometimes we don't know if there are opps that are already out. So we watch each other's back. We buzz each other so that we won't miss anything. Thank you so much Cel for always doing that for me.

Lovely Ruth and Marie, although they might not leave a message sometimes but I can see that they visited me and that is what matters. Lovely Ruth thank you for leaving me messages in my tagboard. It is nice to get them especially when I am so busy here with my little boy.

Sarah, hay naku sis. Salamat sa bisita mo everyday and talking with you is always fun.

Juliana, not only I like her blogs but I think she is a very thoughtful person. I can feel it through her comments and her post. Plus she always visits me although I seldom return the favor.

Jenny R, for visiting me even if you have so much to do with blogging and your 2 chikiting patrols. Thanks Jen.

Nova, she is always in my blog checking on what's new. She always reminds me too that she visited.

Bless, for never forgetting about me. She is one true friend.

Darlene, for your unending support and generous help. For your willingness to help whenever there is something that confuses me. Talking with you is always fun. How thoughful of you.

Dauph, for always visiting me sa walay paglubad. I enjoy talking with her about our kids and our family back home. We surely have a lot in common.

Kero, for always visting me and reminding me that she visited. It always makes me smile whenever I am in her blog. I remember when I first left a message asking if we can exchange links and now my blog friends became her blog friends too. I hope it took some of the boredom away.

Mel, for always leaving me some sweet messages.

    More to Come!!!
