After a long 6 months wait, we are finally on the process of getting Papa his own health insurance. We really thought it was that easy but we truly understand the long wait because there are some people who have abused the system. We are looking into using the same health insurance as what we have. At least we are already familiar with it. After the health insurance, we would like to get him and myself a life insurance. I understand how important it is to have a life insurance. As you know we are not getting any younger at least if something happens in the future, everything will be taken cared of including the funeral cost and the people we will leave behind. That is why I need to find a cheap life insurance that we can afford.
Wholesaleinsurance.net has the life insurance quotes and rates that we can pick at the convenience of our home. All we have to do is fill up the application form to get your quote to get started.

Can You Just Be Happy For Me?
This is what I kept telling myself yesterday after I met the team again. They were all so happy for me except one who also applied for the position. Of all the people I was hoping that he will be happy for me but I got a different response. I don't know if he was already told by the managers that I got the position. I was a little late so I was not able to join our huddle. I guess my supervisor announced it because when I came in everyone was congratulating me and I never said anything. After which he kept avoiding me and didn't say anything to me. I finally said hi to him and he said hi to me back and that was it. During our break he was very sarcastic to me and I never remember him acting like that to me. I say things and he try to contradict it. He was extremely mean to me but I didn't tell him off because I know he has been through a lot. The other lady who also got the position also got the same response from the people that she is working with. Good thing the morning people don't know me so it was a little better.
I got the position because I know I have the experienced and they all know how hard I work. I know all the people that applied for it thought they deserved to get it but management knows what they are doing. If I didn't get it I will feel a little sad but I wouldn't be mean to the ones who got it. For I know my time hasn't come yet. I am just glad that I don't have to deal with this childish attitude and I have only two more days and I am done.

Las Vegas
Monday, July 6, 2009
If Ryan will assign me to look for a hotel in Las Vegas where we can possibly stay if we ever visit there, I would have never figured it out on which one to go for. All I know is there are a lot of hotels and casinos in Las Vegas and booking or looking for one can be very overwhelming but just like any other travelers, I would like a hotel with very good accommodations at a very affordable price. I was expecting everything over there would be expensive but not if you book your hotel at Riviera hotel. You can visit their website today and find weekday specials and weekend specials complete with dates that you can avail. Now going to Las Vegas has never been so easy and affordable with Riviera hotel.

Lipofuze
I was watching TV with my son a few days ago when a commercial about lipofuze went on. That was the first time I have heard and seen about lipofuze. To those who are not familiar with lipofuze, is a fat burner that contains 6 patented and 4 clinically proven ingredients according to the commercial. It got me interested so I searched the internet and came across Fatburner.net where they reviewed lipofuze with its ingredients, including its pros and cons. They also reviewed it based from the following, fat burning power, safety; return policy, fat loss speed, and overall value. Appetite suppression and user results as well. So the next time you are looking for a fat burner check out Fatburner.net with their top 3 best top burner.

Our 4th of July
Sunday, July 5, 2009
How did you spend your 4th of July? We got invitations but we didn't go to any of them but instead we stayed home (after working for a few hours) then later went to church. Ryan and I needed to go to Borders to pick up a book but they were already closed when we got there. We stopped by Target to get the SD card for the digital camera and ate at TGIF. It's been a while since we have gone there. Besides it was raining and we can't grill so we decided to go out. After we left the restaurant the rain stopped but we were not too interested with the fireworks. I don't know, it just doesn't fascinates us. I guess I have seen enough of fireworks when I was in the Philippines, so we all came home and watched a movie. I played with Frankie and went to bed early because we needed to get up early for Six Flags.

We Need Two
Frankie is in an age where he gets through everything and tries to figure out how everything works. He has broken some of his toys and now he’s fascination is with the TVs we have in the house. He just loves switching them on and off. He also likes playing with its remote controls. In the living room even if our TV is placed on a high entertainment center, he still tries to find a way to change the channel or turn on the stereo for his music. He has tried taking the cushion from the couch and used it to reach the TV. He has also done stacking up his toys to get to the TV too. He is a very smart kid that is why Ryan and I are thinking of getting a couple of taller tv stands for our bedroom and Papa’s bedroom. So that he can still go in without having to play with the TV anymore. I can’t wait when this fascination of his subsides. Thankfully we can now look around online at Standsandmounts.com. With our busy schedule it is nice to know that ordering for a new TV stand is just a click away.

Not Processed
Friday, July 3, 2009
After coming home from the farewell party and the pre-4th of July celebration from work, I hurriedly put Frankie to nap so that he will be up by the time his Dada and I had to take him to the post office for our passports. When we got there, I was so surprised that there were no car outside the post office but there were a lot at their parking lot on the other end. I told Ryan to wait in the car as I check if they are really open. As I walked by the door, there was a big notice saying that they are going to have a special holiday and that they are only open until noon.
I was so disappointed. I really wanted to have our passports done but I guess we have to make another time again. I can't process it without Ryan. It is their new law I guess that Dads are supposed to be with the kid during the application process. After stopping by the post office, we went ahead and got the camera that I have held at Kohl's. We normally do not sell cameras unless if there is an occasion coming up but I couldn't say no to the discount that I will be getting. Ryan didn't even care that it was red because he said, it is mine anyway. It is a 10.2 mp which I am a little shocked with the quality. It is super clear and I find it so weird. Ryan said because I am so used to of using the smaller mp. I told him that we need to have a camera for tomorrow that is why we went out and got one. We still need to get its own memory stick since I couldn't use the old one because it was only for Sony digital cameras. I should be able to record a better quality videos of Frankie soon. That I am so excited about.

Xbox, A Perfect Gift
Sunday, June 28, 2009
Ryan was so nice to give his PS1 to my brother Tonette when we went home for a visit for the first time since I got here in the US. It came with games too. It is quiet expensive if we have to buy it from there. We are just glad that they were able to bring it to play even if they use 220 volts over there. When we got home, I encouraged him to get PS2 for his birthday since he wanted to get it for a long time. He has been playing with it every once in a while but now very seldom now that we have Frankie. I seriously was thinking of getting him an XBox last December because I know he really liked to own one but I thought with his full time job and school soon, I am sure he wont have the time to sit down and play again. Xbox is a good gift to give on special occasions and you can now get one online at an affordable price at Thesource.ca, your one store source for Xbox games, accessories and more.

Shopping Not Complete Without Each Other
One of the things that I look forward every Sunday is going out with Ryan for our grocery shopping. It is our alone time since Papa always wants to stay home with Frankie. He is not too fond of long drives so he would rather stay home with him. Papa usually writes the stuff that he needs for the entire week and we go get them for him. Since he cooks the meals all the time, he is also in change of writing what he needs. We usually go to Bradley to shop. It is almost 30 miles away from where we live. I used to get mad at Ryan every time we go there because of the long drive but I find to realize that he likes the drive while we talk about different things that happened to us during the week. Plus tax is cheaper there and there are a lot of things that we can do in one place. Sometimes we stop at the Filipino restaurant, watch a movie down there at the mall or like today stop by Oberweis for some milkshake because according him, he was craving for it (lupig pa ang preggo). We also like it there because it is not too crowded compared to up here.
It is something we look forward to every week and I enjoy it so much with my husband. We are so busy during the week that is it so nice to be able to unwind.

Quick Fix
Everybody wants to be in their perfect shape all the time but it doesn’t go according to plan most of the time. People work-out; go for a walk and diet to attain this goal. I don’t know how many times I have attempted to lose weight. I do though but not as quick as I hope it would be. Sometimes I wish there was a quick fix in losing weight. You know, like an immediately relief. I am sure it would be awesome but in reality, it is not that easy. The results from working out can take weeks and weeks to show but taking one of the diet pills that is available out in the market today could give me an immediately result. Working out paired with any of the top 10 best diet pills reviewed by Pricesexposed.net might give you a favorable result. You should check them out.

Life Can Sometimes Be Unfair
Saturday, June 27, 2009
I met Laura when I started working at Prism a few months ago. I have heard about her from some of my co-workers and I never knew that when we meet, we are going to be instant friends. She is the most lovable grandma to her grand kids. I enjoy working with her. Every time I get my schedule every week, she is the first person I look for to see if she will be working with me. If you look at her, she is so full of life and energy. She gives me so much hope and determination in life because of her attitude. If you don't know her you probably think that she is just some ordinary lady but nope, she has Multiple sclerosis, the same sickness that took my mother in law away. The way she handles her sickness and the attitude she puts to it is just amazing. Here I am complaining about life sometimes and there she is making most out of it. When we work together I always remind her about taking her medications. She gets into what she is doing that sometimes she forgets. I know exactly the times that she has to take her meds.
If I was in her situation, I don't know if I will be able to have the same outlook in life. When I feel down and sad I just think of her and things get better. Sometimes I think life can be unfair. They could have given that sickness to someone who is really bad and mean ( I know a lot of those kind of people) but why to someone everybody loves. Life can be unfair sometimes.

Treadmill
The change of weather here in the US makes you also change the way you live to adapt to these changes. During the summer, Ryan and I enjoy a walk together before we had Frankie. We sometimes go to this nice park not too far from where we live and walk. We usually talk about a lot of things but most especially about our future. Yes, we always plan ahead. Unfortunately, when the winter comes around, we find ourselves sitting at home because it is too cold to walk outside. That was the main reason why in 2006, we thought of rewarding ourselves with a new treadmill from a catalog that sells different treadmills that we got. Although we haven’t been using it as much now because of our busy schedule but it is nice to hop on it every once in a while to go for a walk and listen to my favorite music. Ryan recorded some of my favorite dance music in a mini disc and that is what I listen to when I walk.
It is so amazing because you can now order treadmills in the internet too at Proform.com. What is even better is they are having a summer sale on selected treadmills. So this is your chance to get one for less. I have to say it is so nice to have a treadmill at home.

Someone Misses Tay-tay
Sunday, June 21, 2009
For the first time today, Frankie woke up without his Tatay. Papa was picked up early by my friend's husband so that he can finish up with the baseboard and painting on the walls and ceiling in their dining room that he started. When I am not home, Jenny usually watches Frankie but since I finished all my projects really early I told Papa that I can watch Frankie so that he can do all the work undisturbed. I wanted to take him out today to get something for his Dada but I changed my mind when I realized that I need to work tonight. So tomorrow will be a different story because we need to get a lot of stuff for the house.
Although Tatay wasn't home, I made sure to check on Papa if he has eaten his lunch and snacks and every time I talk to him I give it to Frankie and they always talk for a little bit. It is so funny to hear Frankie try to talk to him like he is telling him a story. I have to snag the phone after 2 minutes or else they can talk forever.
While Papa is away, I also had a chance to talk to my brother. He said Papa and him talked the day before while I was away for work. He said, it sounded like Papa is happy here and happy with what he is doing. He said that he likes it here because all his efforts are appreciated. We always let him know how much we appreciate his help. It is also nice that he is able to share his talent and skills to my friends. I have to take a picture of his work and post it here soon. They are so pleased with his work and I am so glad.

Masters Information Security
Sunday, June 14, 2009
I was reading the paper a few days ago when I came across a page where they showed the result of a survey that they conducted about the most stabled job there is today and I wasn’t surprised at all with the result. It was any job that is related to Information Technology. As you may have noticed most of the companies these days are ran by computers and someone has to keep them running and of course keep them safe.
So if you already have a degree in information security why not go for the masters information security and learn more about the two concentrations such as Managerial concentration and Technical concentration that Lewis University offered. Plus you don’t have to worry about making a special trip in campus to attend your classes because you can take it online. Since Lewis University is accredited by the Higher Learning Commission, you know that what you are getting meets and exceeded the standards of quality education and training. You should check them out.

Strawberries
Tuesday, June 9, 2009
Ryan and I were doing our Sunday shopping again when we saw this gorgeous red strawberries for only .49 a box. I should have gotten more but I only took 2 boxes home. Frankie won't even leave it alone. I am not really a fan of strawberries before because some of them are not that sweet but this one were just so sweet and juicy and for that price, you can't beat it. It used to be 3.99 or 3.50 before that is why I seldom take home a box. I hope to get some soon next week when we go back there again this Sunday and hopefully it is still .49 cents.
